Asking for a friend: Do AAU tournaments in WI use shot clocks?
Shot Clocks in Chicago functioning perfectly with College students running them.
Why can AAU figure it out but in Wisconsin we can't?

A great way to “introduce” the shot clock into WI HS basketball would be to have summer tournaments & summer leagues use the shot clock in their events.🤔

Shot Clock anyone? I dont blame coaches. If not forced to play, why not stall. BUT why are we so anti-progress. Why is dribbling for 2 minutes unguarded okay in a State Championship. WIAA its time to advance the game.

A great facility to host that game! Thank you to Nick Senger, AD at Ashwaubenon HS, for putting in to host WIAA tournament events. It’s a plus for the school as well as for those two school communities!

There are 100 WIAA D3 boys basketball teams statewide.
Heading into this game, these 2 teams were tied for 1st place in the division with 25–1 records.

It would be great to have an NFHS calendar of special days printed or shared with high schools and state Athletics associations so schools and high school conferences throughout the country can prepare their student athletes and coaches for the special days.
Sportsmanship isn’t just a game-day decision. It’s a standard.
On National Sportsmanship Day, we’re reminded that athletics are built on respect:

✔ Respect for officials
✔ Respect for teammates
✔ Respect for the game
Winning matters. But character matters more.

Doesn’t matter that there aren’t 5 stars or players ripping the rims off out there

Dear young athletes- keep this photo saved to your phone and show the next person who says you have to focus on one sport in HS.
The amount of kids I’ve heard say “I can’t risk getting hurt” or “my coach won’t let me” drives me crazy.
You get one shot to be a HS athlete.
