When vx-underground first started in 2019 a security researcher named Yonathan Klijnsma (@ydklijnsma) was very kind to us. He was one of our earlier followers. In September, 2020 he had shared he had cancer. I checked in with him semi-regularly, asking about his cancer treatment and how he's doing. I spoke with him in September, October, and November. I forgot to message him in December. I reached out to him January 7th, 2021 asking how he's doing. January 9th, 2021 his wife shared he had passed away January 6th.
