Collaboration is a mindset and set of skills. It's a messy & occasionally frustrating activity. Short term it can take longer than not collaborating. Longer term, effective collaboration delivers exceptional results. But to get there, we must first take a look at ourselves.

Some sane ideas from @matthewsyed on how to get the UK's economy moving. Clearly this is going to rule him out from ever running for Parliament! thetimes.com/article/becae85…

Every single person who still cringes at the memory of trying to bullshit their way through an interview or exam question: today, the slate is wiped clean. Set down your burden of shame. Nothing - nothing, I say - could touch this.

These thugs fractured the spine of Sgt Kate Evans, who spoke in court of the medical and emotional trauma she still lives with. Prison is where they belong. Unlike Zack Polanski, I want serious consequences for anyone who attacks police officers risking their lives to protect us.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

Impossible for Baroness Brady to stay as a judge on The Apprentice after a BBC investigation showed she had known for three years that West Ham owner David Sullivan ( she was his Vice Chair and had worked for him for decades) was banned by the FA from contacting the women’s teams because of safeguarding concerns. Brady, 57, has been spraying around legal letters to the media warning them about any suggestion she knew anything about the sex allegations involving Sullivan. Her lawyers now say that although she was aware, she was not involved, in the decision made by West Ham in conjunction with the local authority and the FA to impose the restrictions. This is belter from the lawyers; They said there was no inconsistency or hypocrisy between her support for women’s rights and working for a bloke who was perceived to present a sufficient risk to women he was prevented from contacting them.

As always, a good audience with His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I thank His Majesty, the people, and the entire United Kingdom for their ironclad support for our people. Photo: The Royal Family. @RoyalFamily

Every life matters. One law. One standard. For everyone.  This is about justice, for Henry, for his family and for all our children. They deserve better.

Good piece in The Times by author Sathnam Sanghera ( a Wolverhampton Sikh whose latest book is about George Michael) saying Henry Nowak’s killer doesn’t represent his religion, pointing out hundreds of thousands fought on our side in both World Wars, some receiving VCs. Not the point. I accept they are brave and patriotic. The argument around poor Henry is that the charge of racism from somebody of colour even trumped a murder. That state bodies, in this case the police, had been so infused with DEI, that they would rather handcuff a dying white man than disbelieve somebody of Asian heritage. A step forward to stop this nonsense comes from Kemi Badenoch who has pledged to overhaul equality laws to stop police officers, nurses, teachers and other public servants getting preferential treatment because of race, religion or sexual orientation. Thank God for that.

Disability benefits will cost taxpayers £20 billion more by 2029. A surge in claims for mild mental health conditions & neurodiversity is behind it. Handouts aren’t the answer. A @Conservatives government will reassess these claims to get people into work, rather than welfare.

In the UK, you can stab a white person to death and get them arrested while they bleed to death, because racism. In the UK, you can brutally assault police officers on video and go free, because racism. In the UK, "anti-racism" has become far more dangerous than racism.
Apparently this video isn’t enough evidence to convict the guy in blue for assaulting all three police officers Yet Lucy Connolly got two years in prison for an off colour tweet - prosecutions Keir Starmer encouraged Labour’s two tier justice system has to end x.com/PolitlcsUK/status/2060…

Imagine watching this and being unable to decide if these vile, out of control thugs assaulted a police officer... It doesn't make any sense. Our two-tier justice system is utterly broken.

Grammar is important and I will not allow you to use it to wriggle out of a blatant untruth. This is the official UK government statement: ‘The UK Government is increasing defence spending by £270bn over this Parliament to strengthen our national security.’ Plain English. Even you won’t be able to parse that to your advantage. So hop off and stop wasting my time with nonsense.
Grammar’s important Andrew, and changes meaning, e.g. if he said: “..we will spend £270m, more than we would otherwise have done…”. This is accurate. Hard to determine grammar in verbal exchanges but it’s obvious to most he wasn’t claiming a doubling of the defence budget.

Here's a 'life' tip that's served me well over many years. If your'e not really any good at something, don't do it! Find something else and give it a try. UK MP's - take note.

Labour MPs don't know where money comes from. That's why Keir Starmer is a dud and why every contender lining up to replace him will be one too. You can't fix this busted flush of economic illiteracy that is the Labour Party, so stop trying. My open letter to Tony Blair below👇 thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…
