After benefiting from healthy youth worker networks and volunteering for over 6 years to help facilitate healthy networks, I’m answering God’s call to step into a full-time missionary role with National Network of Youth Ministries!

Steve will be at Fan Expo Denver at the end of the month. Lots of gaming content and more—like this X-Files cast reunion! And he’s planning to talk about the whole event on our next podcast episode on June 2. If you’re in the area and haven’t gotten a ticket yet, do so today!!
The Mandalorian & Grogu was a fun movie and told a good Star Wars story that fell in line with the previous 3 seasons of the series. Didn’t blow me away, but it was definitely a very solid entry. 👍

Michael was very well done. And huge respect to Jaafar for truly transforming into his uncle. Hard to believe it’s his first acting job. Makeup and cinematography were also incredibly strong. 👍

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was really fun! Lots of great moments, both new and nostalgic. And very happy it didn’t feel too packed with multiple storylines. Had a great time and highly recommend! 👍👍

Project Hail Mary was a great new story, which seems to be kind of rare these days. Ryan Gosling did a really great job, too! Highly recommend!!

Solo Mio was a very fun romantic comedy, which was such a breath of fresh air in the recent world of cinema. Kevin James handled the lead role like a champ, and the costars were also great! They maybe went overboard with the alcohol use, though.

Against my better judgment, I had to fly @FlyFrontier again today, and wouldn’t you know that there was yet another problem. This time, it was my birthday again! I don’t understand why they can’t get my birthday correct. :(
Karate Kid Legends was good and had heart, but felt like 4 separate rushed stories thrown together in 90 minutes. Not seeing Daniel until 2/3 through the movie and for just a tiny bit of training left me feeling like it wasn’t originally planned that way.

My theory is that it’s some sort of Pikmin Origins game. Maybe this is Captain Olimar when he was a baby. He’d encountered Pikmin before but just didn’t remember because he was a baby. Probably too far fetched, but hey, it’s worth taking a shot at a prediction, right?

The Fantastic Four: First Steps was a solid superhero story. Love the family focus and dynamics. Love that it was a focused and contained story. A couple CGI moments that could be improved. Overall, a great movie! 👍👍
