I feel Rove’s exasperation deep in my bones. I still don’t understand how people are voting no. I really don’t. I’ll never understand it and it will never be ok with me. Please watch this and share 🖤❤️💛
'Let's just be decent for once.' As Australia inches closer to Referendum Day, @rove explains why giving our First Nations People a Voice to Parliament should unite us, not divide us.
Why things are so different in New Zealand leading many there look across the ditch and ask why is such a modest proposal facing rejection? The world is seeing a new side of Australia.

Philip Lowe warns of ‘significant risks’ as he drives up interest rates aiming for soft economic landing .Trouble is the way the economy is already slowing I fear the odds of a hard landing are significantly higher than a soft one NOW 👎 theguardian.com/australia-ne…
The misapplication on this site of horrendous terms like Apartheid and systematised racism is epic. It suggests either utter mendacity, in a bid to frighten people about the Voice, or a cartoonic simplicity of mind. #voteYES
The voice referendum is a turning point. A yes vote will save lives. A no vote will invalidate them
Yes it is indeed a turning point
It is untenable in this country that champions fairness that we awake after the vote to a No result
I trust we WONT theguardian.com/australia-ne…
This bloke is an f ing idiot and a very harmful one Unfortunately most of his party though definitely not all are the same Shameful He has learnt NOTHING
Great to see an election battle where the major parties focused on the issues and maintained a respectful tone throughout. Well done to both parties and their leaders.
And here we are, well into the 21st century, and Australia is hesitating about whether or not we recognise in our constitution a most obvious truth - that First Nations people, not Captain Cook nor Captain Phillip - were the original occupants of the land.
If Aus votes the referendum down, we’d go from being a country that had not got around to recognising its First Peoples in its inadequate Constitution to one that had consciously rejected doing so. To wit, active insult & global infamy. #Insiders@canberratimes@ANUausi
