During Rudy Giuliani's mayoralty NYC teams won 5 Championships. No one was ever stabbed or shot as a result. Being Mayor of NYC is more than just making Tik Tok videos at the game. It's about keeping NYC safe. While the Knicks won, Zohran Mamdani failed.

When the Rangers won after 54 years in 1994, the riot was in Vancouver home of the losing Canucks not the already improving capital of the world. Even worse this 2026 riot was predictable based on the violent behavior after the earlier Knick wins.
