I realize now that I’ve always curated AND self-produced my own shows. Only recently in ETHCC Cannes I was hired to curated and was given a venue and budget to work with. But for all of my shows before that I always paid out of pocket everything and everyone. I paid for artwork production and framing, I’ve paid for shipping transportation and accommodation of my artists, I’ve paid for venue and booth, I’ve paid for food and beverage, I’ve paid for service, security and handling staff. I’ve never had and never looked for private or public sponsoring because to me that what a gallerist do ! (And I don’t even take 50%) And I realize I likely paid (despite being just a guy in his 20’s trying to do cool stuff ) much more thing than platforms whom have done funding rounds in millions and despite not having huge budget I manage to pull out show that had nothing to envy from the one they could organized. My NFT Paris booth was quite an example of that, managed to make one of the most memorable booth of the edition with less than 5000€. I didn’t cut cost, just did a lot myself, had quote in the 5 figures range for the booth, ended up buying and cutting the wood myself and building the wall myself. Countless of exemples, more my next show schedule to open in July in Paris I’ll be doing that all over again but to a much higher degree. I think I’m done trying to make gold with copper and working with peanuts budgets. I want to try my luck commuting 5 figure budget, making precious gem from raw diamonds and I got to admit for the first time I’ve been thinking of getting sponsors. With a 20% commission (got a gallery partner) I need to sell more than I ever did just to keep the light on, but I guess that’s what conviction in an artist is ! I’m all in ! 🎤 At @NFCsummit Lisbon, I spoke about what remains after the NFT and blockchain hype cycle in digital art. The digital artists still capturing attention today are often those with stronger concepts, deeper frameworks, and distinctive aesthetics. But artists don't build a movement alone. 🖼️ Collectors buy, support, preserve, and champion artists - whether driven by a genuine connection to the work or long-term conviction in an artist's practice. 🏛️ Galleries discover, produce, exhibit, distribute, contextualize, and promote digital art, helping artists reach audiences beyond moments of speculation and market attention. 🤝 Patrons commission, fund, convene, publish, document, advocate, sponsor, educate, and build institutions. They organize events, support museum initiatives, fund books and documentaries, sponsor awards, and create the cultural infrastructure that helps digital art gain recognition and legitimacy. Artists create culture. Collectors, galleries, and patrons help ensure it survives long enough to matter. ✨ It takes conviction to invest time, capital, and reputation into a movement before the wider world recognizes its value.

As a curator, if you want to have a successful show, you need to have this holy trinity: The right place The right time The right artist Sometimes it starts with one or the other; I usually try to find a place first. Sometimes it's a specific date I wanna do things during. My next exhibition started with wanting to work with a specific artist, I've been a big fan of for a while. Will soon announce the place, the time and the artist composing my next exibition during NFC

My next exhibition is my most ambitious project to date. We are lucky to have the support of @ArtverseParis, providing us with a space and a contribution to the exhibition budget. For the first time, I am committing, out of pocket and curatorial conviction, a 5-figure budget to produce that show! Even just producing the artworks without factoring in delivery, framing, or any other cost is costing more than 10k... I can't wait to show you the final result; I hope we'll get the collectors' interest for this digital-based, breathtaking physical production that has never been produced before using this technique.
