Go 1.26 will enhance the built-in "new" function, to let its the only argument also support (initial) values, instead of types only. That means, since Go 1.26, we can use new(123) new(true) ... to create pointers pointing to the given argument values. #Golang
In #Golang, there is not a simple way (using one expression) to create a pointer to a primitive value. The go101.org/nstd package provides one: nstd.New(123) nstd.New(true) see: docs.go101.org/std/pkg/go101…
