If I could only teach kids one thing about achievement, this might be it. Success is not a function of the number of setbacks we face. It's how much we learn and grow from them. #WednesdayWisdom theatlantic.com/family/archi

The 3Rs of recovery: rehydrate (fluid), refuel (carbs), repair (protein). Top level athletes do all three all the time or suffer the consequences. If you perform you will want to have carbs and protein on board!
A great example of perseverance and delayed gratification which is something that is becoming more of a rarity in today's sports culture. x.com/PlayersTribune/status/

Teaching value of ground force energy versus arm strength energy at @BigLeagueEdge . Ground force energy almost worth twice the amount of arm strength energy. Stop training mainly arm strength. It will only get you hurt! #pitchsmart #pitchinginjury #pitching #science
