I do. I’ve put on more shows with my own money than you’ve played shows. I’ve managed artists bigger than than have done bigger tours. I work with local promoters to the countries biggest. I see it from all sides of the industry. DJs are ignorant of how things work lol

some are cool, but most record labels are glorified predatory lenders. that will not change unless people stop taking shit deals. so, we really need better education on that. but the reality is that most people should plan for a career outside of music while they pursue music.
