🚫🕶️ I've been building an XR app for a real-world ad blocker using Snap @Spectacles. It uses Gemini to detect and block ads in the environment. It’s still early and experimental, but it’s exciting to imagine a future where you control the physical content you see.

Thanks for the feature 🙏
Meta rolled out the ability to develop visual apps for Meta Ray-Ban Display, controlled by Meta Neural Band, and developers are already building interesting things. Details here: uploadvr.com/meta-ray-ban-di…

Want to build for MRB Displays but can't get the glasses (especially outside the US)? Paste your web app's link -> see it ON the glasses, over a real POV scene. Simulate device inputs. Record a preview clip. No device needed. Free. -> pavlo-stijn.dev/mrdb-preview #SmartGlasses

Nature looks insane up close 🔬🌿 @pt_pavlo and I built Micro Art, a lens for @Spectacles that turns any surface into a glowing 3D micro-world. Point your phone at a leaf, bark, a petal, even rust, and snap. The hidden texture comes alive floating in the glasses.

🏃‍♂️ I've gamified my own run so I can race my own ghost with the Meta Ray-Ban Display. I built a web app for the glasses, loaded a previous GPX from Strava, and dropped game mechanics on top. Pick up coins when you keep pace, sprint zones reward extra points if you push, and a mini leaderboard on the lens shows how you're tracking against your past self in real time. Best part: it actually works. Seeing your ghost 20 m ahead is a way stronger nudge than any number on a watch. 😅

Built a WebXR shooting game for Meta Ray-Ban Display. No hands, no controllers - just your head rotation. Turns out years of AR development rewired my brain to think spatially even on non-AR hardware. Then realised - it’s a web app, why not make it work everywhere? #webxr #mrbd

A colleague with augmented reality expertise photoscanned Phoenix, built a 3D model, and turned it into a WebXR experience. You can literally place her in your surroundings and walk around her. The SpaceX Starlink rocket in the back is a nice touch too 🚀 Full credits to @stspanho 🙌 Thanks man!

I converted it to .sog with @playcanvas SuperSplat. It's only 7MB! That's the equivalent of a HQ image 🤯

Future of immersive games is bright. I played the tower defense but it’s an apple game, you can control the drone by moving the Banana 🍌 Great work @pt_pavlo @stspanho

Imagine stepping into your embeddings that power RAG. 📚 In this proof of concept, you’re surrounded by courses. Semantically similar ones float right next to each other. I've built an XR prototype with Rémi at @itpocket where you can stand inside your knowledge base on Apple Vision Pro. Ask a question and the AI lights up the relevant documents in space, so you literally see where your answer comes from. When you ask something specific like "I want to be an astronaut, what can I learn", only a few tight clusters glow. But ask "I'm bored, what could be something fun to study" and clusters across the space light up. #applevisionpro #artificialintelligence #xr #rag

What if your sunglasses were a photography coach? Frame a shot with your hands -> glasses detect it -> auto-crop -> AI enhances and gives you feedback. Phone never leaves your pocket. Built this with Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses their new Wearables SDK.

Hooked up Reachy to an LLM and made a couple of tools like detect_objects or look_at It can now essentially reason about the space it’s in by using @Spectacles AR TTS latency is still high and needs a better solution, Claude 4.6 is already working on it 😎

Build AR applications that recognize physical objects and provide real-time spatial guidance. @stspanho and @pt_pavlo used Gemini 2.5 Pro’s multimodal vision and sound effect prompting capabilities to create an immersive experience with LEGO Smart Bricks and Snap Spectacles.

🌍 AI Glasses can become your City Tour Guide! Check out this great POC from Stijn Spanhove
Will 2026 be the year of XR & AI-powered wearable glasses? 😎 I think so! I recently created a proof of concept at @itpocket: a tailor-made city tour through Ghent, powered by the Meta Wearable SDK and connected to real-time AI (Gemini Flash). The AI: - Uses only curated landmark content I've provided - Knows your exact location - Sees what you're looking at via vision capabilities - Decides when to show more info on your phone via tool calling, all hands-free As you walk around, hotspots trigger automatically. Approaching a landmark? The AI already knows, and enriches your experience on the go. I’m super excited about how wearable glasses are evolving 🚀 #gent #visitgent

LEGO Smart Bricks already blew our minds 🤯. But what happens when you add AR glasses? @pt_pavlo and I built a POC on Snap @Spectacles where Gemini sees any LEGO creation you make, generates a unique sound, and lets you grab it with your hands. Shake a plane, hear engines. Wave a dragon, it roars. Every build, every time, completely different. Now imagine combining both: Smart Play's physical sensors inside the bricks AR generative AI around them. A LEGO city that reacts from the inside and comes alive through your glasses. That’s not sci-fi. All the pieces exist today. We just played with them. #AugmentedReality #LEGO #Spectacles #AI #LEGOSmartPlay #SpatialComputing
