This week I cycled into Soho. Amazed that there are still no cycle locking hoops visible anywhere on Greek, Frith, Dean and Old Crompton, yet plenty of empty car parking space. So used lamp post blocking pavement like everyone else. @CityWestminster @London_Cycling @willnorman

Last night the LLDC granted consent for Studioshaw’s most significant scheme to date - Bridge House, in Hackney Wick. The project has been a close collaboration with the LLDC. We are incredibly proud of the design and this represents an important milestone for Studioshaw.

The one good thing to come from Covid- turning back the dominance of cars in our neighbourhood seems to be over- our street is reopening to cars, why is this happening?! . @wfcycling @wfcouncil @LDN_LS what happened to low traffic?

Our Hackney Wick scheme has been submitted for planning today. A major milestone for the practice.
In the summer of 2020 we were invited to submit designs for a new mixed use block in Hackney Wick. The competition shortlisted 4 practices of varying sizes and experience.

In 2018 we designed a mountain for @BrintonsCarpets @CDWfestival. It was not for walking on but for getting inside to view a new collection by @timerousbeastie. Didn't cost anything to visit. In May - so was clad in bright yellow Scottish broom - which flowers then. Wasn't built.

So delighted at this news. A building that is incredibly dear to me and inspired me massively as a kid. So pleased to have been part of this including campaign…many emails to the vice chancellor..design workshops with amazing architects and pouncing on head of estates!
