We reached out to them officially in Febuary 2021 and have a meeting at the end of April.
Our intention is that this will be the start of a meaningful working relationship between ODIS and the IBO.
This is where YOU come in. We aim to be advocates for our community so this is your chance to send us questions/concerns that you want raised at the meeting.

I'll be starting a new job this fall in Shanghai and I'm very excited! I found a school that values my identity as an lgbtq educator, has made actionable steps in their DEI work and is committed to getting better, and wants me to start a high school lgbtq alliance club! 🥰
So true @leeannjung At @UWCSEA_East we are working hard to find alternatives for these students. We have started coaching students instead of pulling them from classes. They are valuable to our community.
Pulling students from the classroom because they have a label harms a sense of belonging (and self-efficacy). There are wonderful alternates to this approach that are research based and support belonging. We all have strengths and needs! #LeadInclusion

A3 I coach teams to use WIN Time as a structure for inclusive support. What I Need time. Everyone needs something. It’s a logistical solution to delivering intervention when we need without removing students from core instruction. #TG2Chat
