Banning software isn’t the correct or efficient solution here. I’ve decompiled Art is War’s stuff and looked at what he’s doing. Most of the heavy lifting is in multichannel support emulation, which exists natively on both windows and console. Everything else can be stuffed into existing high end headsets or DACs via custom firmware. It’s a 1 way signal, so the firmware is undetectable, it processes between the game and your ears. The real issue is that @CallofDutyCM builds an audio profile around emersion in a multiplayer game mode. The audio mix is jammed with so much extraneous noise playing it competitively is nearly impossible, regardless of skill. The fix needs to come from Activision.
Replying to @Ebatez_ @CallofDuty
I don't give a damn about comp tbh, but hundreds of thousands of players watching tournaments either: A. Think it's the norm and are annoyed/mad at COD that it is allowed. B. Start using audio tunes themselves because it's needed to "keep up" It's a plague to the entire game.

This is such a misleading post I'm shocked it's not been community noted. 12 Monthly payments = 24 half payments (one every 15 days-ISH) Bi-weekly payments = 26 half payments (one every 2 weeks) = 13 monthly payments/year. By definition, you must pay more each month over the course of the year in order to pay bi-weekly vs monthly.
When you realize that making biweekly mortgage payments on a $400,000 mortgage saves you $47,000 in interest and cuts 5 years off your loan without changing how much you pay each month.

Love seeing my healthcare alternative get some appreciation 🤣 Fun fact: these flights are actually multifaceted strategic operations, not just a purpose done publicly stunt. Aircraft, like any other vehicle, needs to be operated routinely. If vehicles sit, fuel rots, lubricants settle and seals dry out. Regular flights keep the vehicles operational. Pilots need flight hours to stay current. Like anything humans do, if you don’t keep up the skills, they start slipping. Pilots need to keep their flight hours up (true in commercial aviation and the military). Additionally, on top of just logging flight hours, the flights are mission focused. Common missions involve landmark navigation, mission target arrival timing accuracy, and almost certainly targeting exercises.
First time experiencing this flyover Americans do before big sporting events and I have to say it goes kinda hard

This is not my usual topic, so feel free to tune out, but I've been pushing various AI models to their limits on this. I'll publish my results (and the work that got me there) a bit later, but this is ultimately the conclusion that @grok and @ChatGPTapp agree on regarding the LA election: [Chat responding to Grok research and review of Chat research] If I were advising a researcher I would not tell them: "There is no cause for concern." Nor would I tell them: "The election was likely compromised." I would tell them: "The combination of documented registration-fraud incidents, known voter-roll disputes, demonstrated registration vulnerabilities, administrative discretion, and barriers to independent review creates a reasonable basis for concern about election integrity. That concern justifies targeted investigation and verification efforts. Whether those concerns ultimately affect confidence in the reported outcome depends on what additional evidence is found through that review. That is the position I think is most consistent with the evidence we've discussed." I feel like this this most reasonable place to be in regards to California Politics.

LOL I fed @ChatGPTapp California voting laws, court cases involving fraud, the current voting heat map For Raman, and then asked it to evaluate the most commonly asserted method to "fix the vote". This is the result. Chat chose Seppuku over evaluating the question.

I'm happy to report that I was invited to play 007 First Light on release week 🤣 Controls are a little clunky like any Stealth Action game but it's sure pretty and so far is fun to play. No multi-player (even a co-op campaign would be fire) kills any chance I'll play this again after I finish it. But 4K on Ultra settings is real pretty (RIP most graphics cards though).

I love seeing people so confidently wrong they lock replies before anyone can even point out their ignorance. Nicely done.

Today was a good day for killing. Not too hot, not too cold. Slightly overcast with a strong breeze. What did you do today?

I’ve been saying it all day: watch who defends the cheats.
"just don't cheat" I got hit with a false positive once for having cheat engine active on borderlands 2 while the league client was open I have as much faith in vanguard as the community does with Israel

Checks out.
This is a really interesting thread. Based on this post, the quoted-post, comments, subsequent posts, and sub-threads, gamers seem to not to understand: - What Direct Memory Access (DMA) means - What "kernel-mode" means - What an anti-cheat really does - What a computer is

Always watch the people defending cheating...
The most insane part is I'm pretty sure this isn't even legal, Riot Games is literally going to be destroying computers (with impunity) even if its a false positive or error, the Vanguard anti-cheat could also be exploited by hackers to brick millions of PCs... this isn't legal.

Always watch the folks defending cheating.
This is an insane overreach of power!! If an anticheat detects you’re using a cheat device, it should shut down or suspend the game and report the suspected cheating, NOT INSTALL A VIRUS ON THE FUCKING COMPUTER you psychos

Can’t make this up.
San Francisco is safer because of Flock Safety. Every city can be safer. We don't have to choose a world where people are unsafe. It is a choice, though.
