Why don’t @PaHouseDems engage with charter schools like they do with districts before they implement consequential changes?
@RepProkopiak’s HB 2634 will make sweeping changes to brick-and-mortar charter funding & further slash cyber charter funding.

No listening sessions with cybers or B&M charters. They only do those with districts & PSEA, PSBA, etc. They don’t care about the impact to charter schools- just cut, cut, cut, to help districts.

Funny listening to @PSEA and @childrenfirstpa say that funding needs to increase in districts to achieve better results, but it needs to decrease in cyber charters to…achieve better results.
PSEA and CF don’t care about children. They care about the system.

Congress is one thing, but at this point, the PA legislature is of more importance to me.

Here is the data from the 3 top PA swing Congressional districts
We won all three of them in 2024
GOP mail in requests are up BIGLY now compared to 2024... districts 8/10 are up consistently... district 7 is lagging 2022 numbers
PA will determine control of the US CONGRESS
Note how strong our work is in PA 10 for @ScottPerryPA... my guy is at 34% of the mail in request share

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.
We don’t create any daylight when we move the clocks forward on DST. It’s not going to be light out until 8:45 p.m. in the winter as it is in the summer.

We need the PA Senate GOP to make further cuts to cyber charter funding a non-starter.
Allowing the House Democrats and Gov. Shapiro to slash another $75 million is not a compromise. It’s allowing them to further erode school choice in PA.
Two years of cuts are ENOUGH.
