Commonsense gun safety laws work. In CA, we have cut our gun death rate in half since the 1980’s. We won’t solve this overnight -- but let’s stop pretending that these mass shootings are an inevitable horror we have to experience on a regular basis.

Today’s #MLKDay event by @SJAACSA includes powerful voices like @TamikaDMallory @NicoleTaylorSV of @siliconvalleycf @mrnevergivup I’ll think of their messages 2021 & beyond: to address biases, to support ppl building movements, to jump in and learn. Congrats, award winners!

It can't be said enough: so many ppl don't have enough money to pay rent, to pay for food, to pay for medicine, to pay for clothes for their kids, to pay the bills for their family. The list goes on. The failure to provide money for people when they are most in need is abhorrent.

We have had over 32,000 people ask us for help since March. We’ve only been able to help a fraction & we have one of the largest covid relief funds in CA. Without federal leadership tens of thousands of families will lose their homes. And that’s just here in Silicon Valley.
It’s reckless, irresponsible, abhorrent for Trump to blow up negotiations now, when so many renters and small landlords are struggling mightily, and when there is growing bipartisan agreement on the need for emergency rental assistance. 1/

If you can afford it, pls consider paying the small-biz person you’d normally pay this month: hairstylist, dog-walker etc. You can get the cut/color/dog walk later. Your trusted vendor needs the cash now. Just a thought. #payitforward

It’s in these times of crisis that Californians are at their best, coming to the aid of those in their community who are most in need. @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom There are plenty of ways to safely help while abiding health guidelines on #COVID19. Help California #MeetTheMoment.

I just loved #TheGoodPlace finale so very very much. Those writers are the best. Actors too.
For Halloween, I want to dress up as a perfect phone call.

It’s been great to see so many women on the panels at #DySiSummit — you don’t find this at all conferences.

Among other practical ideas on rolling out new comms platform, @RhoDac of UPS says, “If you feed them they will listen to you.” Totally true, based on my years in workforce. #burritos #donuts #DySiSummit
