This resonates deeply with me and my family. Canada never asked us to leave our story behind. It invited us to add it to a larger one. What a great country! 🇨🇦
Carney: Canada is a mosaic, not a melting pot. And this is the distinction that matters. Because a mosaic doesn't dissolve or blend its pieces. Each is stitched to each and all the pieces hold all. And the beauty is in the arrangement, not in the blending.

At some point we are going to need medical research into the right-wing fixation with this guy.

Carney: What one can't do at this point in a rapidly shifting world order is rely on one set of institutions, one grouping, one country to provide the answers. You have to know what you want, what you need, how you serve your citizens, and then go and get it.

I was heartbroken to learn of the tragic road accident in Mapleton Township, Ontario, on Friday evening that took the lives of five children and left many more injured. My thoughts are with the family and their loved ones as they face this horrific tragedy, and with the people of Elmira and Mapleton. I offer my sincere thanks to the first responders for their swift action and support of those who were injured.

Liar liar pants on fire 🔥 @PierrePoilievre and all @CPC_HQ MPs. You all vote against every bill to help Canadians. And let’s not forget your filibustering.

WATCH: Moments ago, Conservatives (along with the Bloc) voted against Bill C-226 - the National Framework for Food Price Transparency Act. @PierrePoilievre's #CPC Conservatives prioritize petty politics over making life more affordable for Canadian families. #cdnpoli

You’re not going to succeed in making us dislike him. He is a private citizen, leave him alone. Ps.. diaper Donny didn’t go to the opening ceremony in the USA. Neither did Biden.

You know who else skipped Canada’s opener in Canada? Pierre Poilievre. You know what else PP skipped? The swearing in for the new GG but don’t remember you all reporting on that.

Such a cheap jab by @CTVNews It boggles the mind why mediocre media is making an issue of this? The POTUS didn’t attend, the PM didn’t attend, the LOO didn’t attend…but jealous old us are going to make a thing out of a former PM supporting his pop star girlfriend. Idiocy!

Pierre Poilievre skipped the swearing in of the new Governor General because of his ignorance and lack of loyalty towards Canada. Pierre Poilievre also never attended the world cup opening & neither did the Prime Minister.

Carney: Canada, to its great credit, did something unusual with those who came. It didn't require them to become something unrecognizable to themselves in order to belong. And it's the same bargain that we in Canada strike with every immigrant population.
