if anyone wants free alpha i’ve currently received about 15 texts from xavier becerra as a 20 year old voter, and none from tom steyer. very targeted and he’s portraying it as grassroots me vs billionaire which seems to be effective towards my demographic. i’ll probably enter the market over summer no interest in that long of a position atm
id prefer mahan but he doesnt have exposure to socal to win statewide unfortunately

if you told me a year ago i'd be doing this i'd have called you crazy. i don't even think i knew this existed a year ago. going to keep going now that i have a solid bankroll, giving me much better returns than my stock holdings anyways

there's a guy that keeps bonding 99c early on my esports markets of choice and one day ill rinse whoever this person is for 5-10k i keep taking the 1c shares its just too much ev.
back up to almost 30k reversed last weekend but mother has requested me to come home for mothers day and hike which is -ev but i am compelled to do so by an intangible factor of love

busy month but happy. would've been 26k if i didnt have a typo, best month by far. very late may post because finals season but after another week ill be free and finally summer. b2b finals starting at 8 am tomorrow im built for the pressure and excited to get to basically full time kalshi/poly during summer

while UMA is archaic and terrible for the long run and polymarket should definitely do something about it, had nothing to do with this market

The reality of Polymarket no one talks about:
Sometimes you're not predicting the future — you're predicting how UMA interprets the future.
Two days ago, Iran connected the internet to the world .
The market "Internet back by in iran" in @Polymarket went to resolve yes but people started to realise that the rules where written in a way that its hard to resolve to yes in other words its impossible to resolve to yes by UMA , As everyones know UMA doesnt care what the Reality is .
So the people who make money isnt the people who predict the future but the people who have influence over UMA and knows how UMA resolves every market
So the real question is: are we trying to predict the future or predict how UMA interprets a Future
UMA might be the worst thing that happened to Polymarket.
