Had a great meal at old Charlie’s today after church. A young waiter named Sammy, extremely polite and attentive, made the difference. His southern hospitality and friendly smile made the meal delightful. He’s a keeper! #OCTheLittleThings, #StoreNumber251Sammy
On Sept. 20th 1963, Lawrence Williams, Ford Greene, and Ralph Long Jr., started their first classes at Georgia Tech. These three men bravely led the way as Tech became the first university in the Deep South to integrate without a court order.
Georgia Tech biomedical engineers used 3D printing to help a precious little boy have a much-needed procedure to improve his breathing. #CreatingTheNext#WeCanDoThat

I was inspired by a message in one of the videos @jeremyegoins shared with us on Wednesday that I decided to dedicate a space in my classroom to inspire students too. #erhstweets#digitalcitizenship
No measure of success, no matter the magnitude, is ever achieved alone. Other people always contribute to your achievements. Be thankful every day for those who have helped you reach your goals, and find ways to make sure you reciprocate that support for someone else. #NoteToSelf
No kid likes being in trouble; no kid likes failing; and no kid wants to be labeled a “loser.” We need to remember that. It’s great when we can see the potential -- when we can treat kids as they COULD be instead of how they are now.
A very nice 5-mile run in Smithfield, VA. I’m FINALLY back to my fighting (i.e. speaking) shape. It’s been a long, hard, daily fight to eat right and exercise, but it’s been worth it. #powerofonetour
