On Sept. 20th 1963, Lawrence Williams, Ford Greene, and Ralph Long Jr., started their first classes at Georgia Tech. These three men bravely led the way as Tech became the first university in the Deep South to integrate without a court order.

No kid likes being in trouble; no kid likes failing; and no kid wants to be labeled a “loser.” We need to remember that. It’s great when we can see the potential -- when we can treat kids as they COULD be instead of how they are now.

A very nice 5-mile run in Smithfield, VA. I’m FINALLY back to my fighting (i.e. speaking) shape. It’s been a long, hard, daily fight to eat right and exercise, but it’s been worth it. #powerofonetour
