I really can't figure out what Musk is trying to do. Did he offer to buy Twitter as a joke and then got stuck when he couldn't back out so it's now a game? Is he keen to lose 'dead wood' users as well as employees? Or will his masterplan mean twitter is thriving in a year's time?

Did you know that Red Hat is the biggest company contributing fixes to the newly released JDK20 other than Oracle? Now you do!

today. Both from 2.346.3 and using GitHub authentication. Anyone done an upgrade from that setup successfully?
It's frustrating that Jenkins doesn't let you update plugins to "the last one that worked with my server version" before upgrading ...

Sackings, kicking developers off the platform unless they pay, charging for verification, changing to allow trolls free-reign on the platform, and seemingly increasing reliability. What's the distinguishing feature of twitter now?
Seemingly only that it has the large user base.

I was in twitter timeout because the algorithm can't tell the difference between someone threatening harm to others or themselves & someone talking about common plots in a thread about TV detectives and crime novels. If only I didn't write about how tech can go wrong
