Imagine if basketball games were played inside locked buildings without windows. The field goals and free throws were registered and counted by machines. The running score of the game was projected on the outside of the building. But it wasn't simultaneous with the game. The running score changed for days and even weeks after the contest was over. When at last there was a final score the fans cheered or slumped in despair. How long would public interest and faith in such a sport last?

You know how in the New Testament, Jesus was always hanging out with the tax collectors? That's because at the time, tax collectors were the lowest form of human life. Absolute filth. Greedy, mendacious, parasitic liars who the broader society rightfully condemned and shunned. Jesus hung out with them to show that God's grace is available to everyone. However, if Jesus were starting his ministry in 2026, he would be hanging out with journalists.

I bucked all advice from my friends (and resisted my conservative bias) and decided to fully trust the Times journalists. As they left my home they asked that I not talk to any other outlets and I insisted then and repeatedly over the following weeks that I would keep my word and only share this story with them. But then the weeks dragged on. They kept coming back to us saying the editors needed more. I needed to go on the record (okay). We need more screenshots (okay). I met every bench mark they set, eager to provide more sources or evidence as needed. After the story went up I began to ask them … wait, where are the stories from the other women? Where are their accusations of sexual assault? Why am I the focus? Why are there 11 paragraphs dedicated to detailing my work history (more than has been published about Graham’s by far)? Why does it say “nobody could corroborate” when I offered them sources that COULD corroborate? Why did they include an out of context quote from a friend joking “do not call Graham” after I called off my wedding? (Because she knew I would never). Where were the screenshots they’d said they would use? Or the mention that I’d supported local democrats and that most of my family (and husband) are liberal? The editors said it was too much, they explained. The Times also failed to include any mention that I DID confide in multiple friends through the years that Graham had been abusive — long before he was running for office. Those friends confirm they told the Times so. It dawned on me that this really was a set up all along. The journalists I trusted who convinced me to share a story I never wanted to tell methodically delayed and twisted this into a gift to the Platner campaign. Violating the trust of his victims. Shattering the trust I placed in them with the most vulnerable story of my life. And at the end of my call with them I reluctantly accepted their insistence that this was still a powerful story and that I had done a brave thing. And I thanked them for all the hard work they had put into it. Still fawning after all these years.

See how easy this was, @tatereeves @DelbertHosemann @MSGOP(e)? It will be an absolute walk in the park with you. Oh, and words can’t describe how much fun we’ll have with @SenatorWicker. Your good ol’ boy days are over. Indiana ✅ Louisiana ✅ Mississippi ✅ SOON
BREAKING Senator Cassidy has OFFICIALLY been defeated. Congresswoman Julia Letlow & State Treasurer John Fleming advance to the runoff on June 27th. This is a massive, devastating loss not only to Cassidy, but also to Senate Majority Leader Thune. (Filmed this 2 days ago)

This absolutely clocks for Mississippi politics and squishy RINO leadership. Won't work this time though; we have had ENOUGH. Delbert will never be governor.
My theory on why @tatereeves refuses to consider redistricting now: He and @DelbertHosemann have cut a deal to delay it so as not to offend the Democrat crossover votes Delbert needs to win the Republican primary for Governor next year. Due to Mississippi’s open primaries, Democrats are allowed to vote in Republican primaries and Delbert can’t win without their votes.

#Mississippi residents have been toyed with and run over for decades. We deserve to see this duked out NOW, and see the recorded votes. We’ll then know who to ‘Indiana’.
Spare us the excuses about why congressional lines “can't" be redrawn now. They can be. Now, call us back to Jackson so we can REDISTRICT Bennie out of a job! 4R-0D

Thank you Governor Reeves.
I don’t typically make news on a Friday afternoon, but today I am going to make an exception: I’m calling a special session. During the recently completed regular session, the Legislature discussed drawing new maps to comply with a decision from a federal judge from the Northern District of Mississippi - a decision that has been appealed to the 5th Circuit and the appeal has been heretofore stayed pending future U.S. Supreme Court decisions. The entire world knows the Callais decision has not yet been handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. It is a decision that could (and in my view should) forever change the way we draw electoral maps. It is my belief and federal law requires that the Mississippi Legislature be given the first opportunity to draw these maps. And the fact is, they haven’t had a fair opportunity to do that because of the pending Callais decision. For those reasons, I am using my constitutional authority to allow the Mississippi Legislature to use their constitutionally recognized right to draw these maps once the new rules of the game are known following Callais. It is my sincere hope that, in deciding Callais, the U.S. Supreme Court will reaffirm the animating principle that all Americans are created equal and that when the government classifies its citizens on the basis of race, even as a perceived remedy to right a wrong, it engages in the offensive and demeaning assumption that Americans of a particular race, because of their race, think alike and share the same interests and preferences – a concept that is odious to a free people whose institutions are founded upon the doctrine of equality. The special session will take place on the calendar day that falls 21 days after the U.S. Supreme Court issues the Callais decision.

MISSISSIPPI SNOW Two Mississippians went out West at least 50 years ago on a ski trip. When they went into a ski shop, they saw posters of "Ski Iowa" on top of the corn, and "Ski Arizona" on the sand dunes. They asked the shop if they had any "Ski Mississippi" Posters? The shop manager said no. They decided to come home and make their own. This is a picture of a cotton field in the Mississippi Delta in September. In September the cotton bowls are ripe and they pop open. The cotton is ready for harvest. Driving by a ripe cotton field, it looks like a good dusting of snow. We call that "Mississippi snow". Those two young Mississippians came home, and the next September they set up a photo shoot. They found just the right field, in just the right condition. They got a friend to drive his cotton harvesting machine out. One of them got dressed up for skiing. They got three sawhorses for he and his skies to sit on, and boom, they got a great picture! They quickly sold out of the first run, and here, over 50 years later, they have a Facebook page, Ski Mississippi. You can buy posters, coffee cups, T-shirts, and all manner of things with this picture on it! Be the first kid on your block to own a Ski Mississippi poster or T-shirt! All of your friends WILL be so jealous. IF only General Sherman had stolen a few Ski Mississippi T-Shirts to wear, it could have improved his image. Mississippians might hate him .02 percent less? (I can work the War into anything I write!) Then again, Sherman might have had Burn Mississippi or Steal Mississippi T-shirts made up.😀😅😂🤣🙃😋🤪😜😝😛🥸😎😎😀

Republicans in DC want to lose on purpose. It's getting cleaned up, and their lobbyists have given them commands. Turn over the ship to the DNC. See, it's not a 2 party system. It's a one-party shell game.
