The cost to replace the 22 border signs is about $3.5 million.

Because as exciting as crafting and prototyping products, ideas, etc is with AI it's still lacking some aspects of traditional creativity and creation.

Gemma4 on M4 Air is neat, close to Sonnet territory.
Still can't replace my Claude sub, but locally-run LLMs being the norm within 5 years feels inevitable.
Frontier models like mythos will prob move to state actors/large corps & the $10-30/mnth subs will disappear.
If you ask me, Gemma 4 is one of the best models out there for a single reason:
You can run it locally and itās really, really good (probably Sonnet level?)
And, of course, ya can now use it to power OpenClaw and show a middle finger to the company who doesnāt like it.

One of my fears for AI is it leads to cultural stagnation.
In music accidents have led to new discovery (record scratches, guitar feedback). Unusual methods in VFX have created iconic scenes. etc
AI can only combine what it knows, which could put us in stasis culturally.
