Just arrived home from Nova, it was a fun weekend. Feeling a bit gutted that our playdate demo came in second (we lost by 5 points!) but I'm sure we'll win next year! Tavi and I have spent our long drive home coming up with funky ideas for our next demo, it's going to kick ass :)
AI has revolutionized my workflow! Thanks to Google being garbage and LLMs generating random bullshit I get to read official docs and original open source code more often. 👍
A big map with 8 cities, bosses and an elite 4 building, 16 different monsters to pick from, a complex battle mode with items, stats, types and many different attacks. Even multiplayer battles and trading, all in just 10KB!

I love designing complex systems, apis, bare metal libraries and all that but I hate the fact that I can't really post about it here. I've been working on a few complex projects since last year but all I have to show is just a cube and a triangle floating in a blue void on my CRT
Introducing acropalypse: a serious privacy vulnerability in the Google Pixel's inbuilt screenshot editing tool, Markup, enabling partial recovery of the original, unedited image data of a cropped and/or redacted screenshot. Huge thanks to @David3141593 for his help throughout!
Chia might use less energy than Bitcoin, but it absolutely destroys SSDs. So while we're currently in a silicon crisis, with the tech industry “suffering its worst-ever chip supply crunch", lets not talk about a new cryptocurrency that will drive up demand of another component.
