A wonderful week in a stunningly sunny Gothenburg for the Biomarkers in Neurodegenerative Diseases Course - thank you @_michael_scholl@tautangles @aitanasogorb for organising, all other speakers for such informative talks and the students for the engaging discussions!
An enjoyable collaboration between @UCLIoN@ucl with the Bateman lab @WUSTL to develop a mass spectrometry assay to measure NfL across a range of neurological diseases. Sets us up nicely to track the synthesis and clearance of NfL in vivo. @braincommsacademic.oup.com/braincomms/…
Congrats to Dr Tatiana Alvarez Giovannucci who who has received an @alzassociation Research Fellowship to Promote Diversity to continue her work on NFL with @tautangles, Prof Kevin Mills and us! #ENDALZ
Nothing on tv tonight? Always wanted to watch two bloody amateurs with no budget or script at work? Then DO NOT MISS our new show “Cars and Scientists”! Ross @tautangles and I combine two of our greatest interests, Alzheimer’s disease research and vintage cars…
Great news to start off the year: We will arrange our joint UGOT/UCL course “Biomarkers for Neurodegenerative Diseases” again on May 24-28, 2021 as a hybrid in-person/virtual event depending on the COVID-situation. The lineup is fantastic, and the course will be free of charge.
