We present results of the first trial of a TREM2 agonist in AD. This was a negative trial; nevertheless an important result in understanding the mechanism of action; it also shows ARIA can occur without removal of amyloid, informing theory on cause of ARIA.nature.com/articles/s41591-0…

It was a privilege to be a part of the conference - an amazing array of talent and knowledge in neuroscience - delighted to be a small part of it!
A couple of days of neuroscience excellence at the 8th @CamNeuro Symposium: Interventions & Recovery. So many great talks, loads of representation from our lab showcasing what everyone has been up to, & insightful public panel discussion on dementia!

Reminded how far things have moved in 3 years - two DMTs, blood biomarkers, innovation in clinical trials but just the beginning and need to push forwards
Starting now, @PhilipAlz chairs ā€œStimulating Innovation: Clinical Trialsā€ with John Dwyer, @cathmummery, Andrew Pain and Cecilie Oliver
