What does a future of work that is "pixelated" and independent look like, and what does it mean for workers?
Our top reflections from the @transcendnet F-21 outro on some big shifts in the arena of work.
(🧵 1/2: On what this means for Individuals)
At @transcendnet we believe it is the founder's responsibility to choose a funding model (vc, nonprofit, bootstrapped, etc) that best aligns with their mission.
Sooo many founders in edtech/future of work assume that VC is the only path... and this kills startups every year.
Are you trying to work at an edtech startup?
Drop the job type of work you are looking to do in the comments (or DM me!), and I'll share this thread with 200 founders in our @transcendnet community🙌
Language is a free way to be strategic.
The right words can make you warmer, more authoritative, and more effective.
The wrong words can make you seem negative, passive, or confrontational.

🚨 Launch announcement 🚨

Here's what it's all about 👇
Some people think they’re too important to do execution.
They “only do strategy” and pontificate with hand-waving ideas.
But strategy is not enough.
The best leaders can do both strategy AND execution.
Here’s how to be great at both:

Zero to one journey is about 1:1
✨Hyper-personalize and get in the same room as the user
✨Collect and validate assumptions necessary to compensate for the initial lack of brand equity
outro was a blast! 🥳✨💖
We got a room full of founders, operators, & investors in the future of learning & work. 😉
We had breakouts where each discussed a specific thesis in the space, from K-12 to Career Progression! 🧠
Thank you all for coming & sharing your spiky POVs!🙌
There are no "career paths" anymore.
Do lots of online research, meet people who have done interesting things, and don't be boxed into artificial "pre-requisites" that are no longer relevant.
Run in a straight line to your dreams, stop "preparing"
At the same time, as I talk to users who sign up for @WonderpathHQ - knowing that you can do anything is quite overwhelming.
Reach out if you need to chat about your goals and need help in building a plan to get there!
