I have to remind myself on a daily basis that micro aggressions are directed at me to make me upset and fall into negative stereotypes that are prescribed to the body I live in. They are designed to keep me back, but I won’t fall for it. @tdsb#stayfocused

Doing the work and seeing it bear fruit. I immortalized #ChloeCooley in an exhibit, led in the designation of her on a provincial plaque, contributed to the Heritage minute of her story and wrote and taught about her. Now today is she hononured with a Canada post stamp!

Today brought me so much BLACK Joy @tdsb_DSS BLACK BRILLIANCE conference. Seeing over 200 Ss from over 30 high schools talking & sharing about what matters to them was inspiring.. There are so many positive things happening in many of our @tdsb schools. Student voice matters
