The General Motors office I work at as a Software Engineer is closing, so I will be in need of a new role in the new year.
Please let me know of any available opportunities!
Spent time on my personal procedural generation project. Running into a few issues rn, tunnel and room overlap, and too steep tunnels that lack variety. I got the chunks to connect but I need to update the connections based on proximity. Have major and minor rooms for paths.
Major rooms are main path, minor are rooms that lead to dead ends or unique extra paths, I only have the dead ends set up for now. The biggest priority is making non overlapping tunnels and rooms.
Been thinking about how I’m gonna handle the overlapping, I need to make sure the space is occupied for rooms, for tunnels, a chance to overlap might be fine. How would that be handled? Make it so space might be occupied?
I don't want to be too presumptuous, but based on the state and output of the AAA industry, I can't say the no-life studying is really giving the results you're claiming they do. 'Rising standards' haven't at all correlated with more impactful or even more impressive art.
For 3D students: Most I’ve met simply aren’t doing the hours needed to get into the industry. Studying only 10:00-16:00 every day won’t cut it - particularly since only a portion of the day is spent on actual work.
So I was working on my website and I wanted to replace my orb with something else. I found a sprite sheet online and threw a horse onto it. Gonna probably try and replace this with something else that I can draw myself but look at it go! It's so joyous!
I don’t want to start a vtuber agency but I’d think it’d be cool to start a theatre company that mainly performs plays with vtubers as its actors. How would that be profitable? It probably wouldn’t be to start but it would be fun!
Tbh a vtuber agency really isn’t needed for this. It’s moreso something where partnerships with vtubers is needed. Unless you absolutely want reoccurring actors. But this would be do all the work behind the scenes things, create the scripts, cast the characters and business stuff
Don't know what happened with Luminara but I know they had a booth at momocon. I did like that they had a screen and let people talk to vtubers, but their branding did not show at all there. I expected at least a banner showing their agency, but I didn't see that.
I was curious so I searched up vtuber on linkedin, no jobs available. Where are the companies hiring for vtuber real estate agents, accountants, nurses, chefs, engineers, or software developers? There is growth here!
