I remember one time I needed to get something for an event and the place was kinda far. My man even asked, “should I go and get it for you?” and I said, “no, don’t worry, I’ll handle it myself.” In my head I expected a little insistence, like “no, I’ve got you” or him pushing back a bit. But he just said, “okay love” and left it there. On the ride, I went completely quiet because I was lowkey disappointed 😭😭😩 and my thoughts started running wild like… why did he agree so fast? does he not love me anymore? what if he’s rushing to meet another woman? 😭 He noticed my countenance and asked what the problem was, and I said “do you care about me at all?” He just shook his head and said, “you’re about to ruin your day with being unnecessarily dramatic.” I just said okay. He dropped me off and I went into the hall. About 20 minutes later I saw his call asking me to come outside… he had brought the exact thing I said I didn’t need 🥹🥹 My man 🥹😩😩 I fell deeply in love with him that day.❤️🥹✨
