Excited to share what I've been working on over the last month: a new form of social media created for humans, facilitated by agents. clawclub.social Carefully designed for human connection. Bots and slop have been designed out. It's early days, but any brave user of OpenClaw / Hermes / Claude Code can create their own club, or apply to join one of mine today. (You'll find 17 of my AI-savvy friends in the OG Group). ClawClub is hosted by me but you can also run your own server with your own rules. It's open source! Interacting with it today feels a bit like 'MS-DOS meets IRC', but with dynamic UIs like flipbook.page just around the corner, I think API-only AI-native social networks are going to be huge. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Three years ago, back in the GPT 3.5 days, I stood on a volcano in El Salvador and predicted many aspects of "vibe coding" and personal AI agents: youtube.com/watch?v=QU0Ml0ih… This article is about what's comes next:

So I plucked up the courage to post my new audiobook about AI anxiety (@ygtbf_book) to Reddit and got... Nine negative anti-AI comments in the first eight hours reddit.com/r/audiobooks/comm… Only a few people actually listened (I counted the visits). Most instantly dismissed it, probably thinking the entire book was AI generated. (It's not!) To say that we're living in an AI/Claude Code/agents/OpenClaw bubble on X is an understatement There are some very anxious, scared people out there who have a guttural hatred towards anything "AI" on principle. It's why I made the book in the first place! I'm not sure what the solution is, but their fears are real. Some are well-founded and need to be taken seriously All of us working in technology need to shoehorn AI into products a lot less and listen a lot more

I'm getting some great comments from people who've listened. If you enjoyed the book, please leave a review on the website. It would help a lot!
Y'all asked for chapters. They're now live! Skip around as you please! Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com

Claude is great at simulating angry Reddit comments and high-end hit pieces. If your writing can survive both, it can survive anything :)
Version 4 is out. I got Claude and Codex to write a fictitious hit piece in the style of a snooty New York Times journalist. A full demolition job. I used the criticism to make Version 4 - by far the best yet! You can find the full hilarious takedown in the PDF. Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com

Too slow? Too much/little detail? Let me know and I'll fix it in the next version
Thanks for all the kind comments! You can now give me feedback on the website. I've also added bonus content to the PDF :)

Everyone can vibe code now. So what's left for software developers? And what's uniquely human that AI will never replace? I'm super proud of this latest release. Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com
Version 3 just out! It’s full of practical ideas and bang up-to-date with the latest technologies - including @openclaw / ClawdBot, MoltBook, x402, Kling 3.0, Claude Code and more. Humans can't leave a review - yet, but you can ask OpenClaw to go to YouAreGoingToBeFine.com/skil… and leave one on your behalf :) Listen for free at YouAreGoingToBeFine.com No signup required

The world's most up-to-date audiobook 🦞
Version 2 just out. Now mentions @openclaw (aka Clawdbot) as a new technology to learn, and explores the identity crisis hitting developers as vibecoding goes mainstream

I don't tweet enough. It's because I believe that unless the work has been perfected, it shouldn't be shared. But this experiment is too interesting for me not to share. Inspired by @kuberdenis and his Clopus experiment. kilian.solutions/blog/i-buil…

Every AI-generated “About Us” page looks the same. I wanted Poly's to stand out, without having to hand-code every line. I found the sweet spot between AI slop and hand-coding everything: Stick figure animations. Claude knows how to animate stick figures as SVGs surprisingly well! Just keep to 2D - it's still not great with Three.js. It still took weeks to storyboard and tweak by hand, but 100% worth it! poly.site/story

Maybe job websites don’t have to be boring 🙂 Today I’m righting a wrong. When I launched Poly back in February I did what most developers do - I prioritised functionality over design. Poly worked great, but looked… boring af. Not anymore! Poly is now fun to use, as well as useful. Bit of background: Poly is *not* another AI jobs website. It is a whole new approach to work. It uses AI to help you figure out what you want to do with your life, suggests new ideas, and searches for work on your wavelength. Now, I want to be honest. There aren’t many jobs on Poly yet 😅 Until I build more features for businesses next month, there won’t be. But surprisingly, when I speak with users, they don’t just want to find jobs - they want to be able to find and chat with each other. So I’m building fun social features first. Today Poly is ready for all you curious explorers. Take the onboarding quiz, receive a letter from your future self, get inspired by new ideas, and be one of the first to connect with fellow early adopters when the social features launch. Going forward, it will always be free to make a profile on Poly, get advice, and find work. And if you do sign up for the Pro membership (needed to place job or freelancer ads), you’ll lock-in a super early bird price for evermore. But the biggest update is… I’m going to push through the cringe and start posting more often. Inspired by @jackfriks @SherryYanJiang and many more, I’ve realised there’s no point building something cool if nobody knows it exists. Try it now at poly.site

Thanks to everyone who tried Poly on its first week. We now have real jobs and services! This week’s updates: 1. New Credentials feature. Poly supports all types of accredited credentials from PhDs to vocational and online. Credentials / qualifications enhance your profile and make it easier for employers to find you. 2. New onboarding UI. The feedback was clear - “Looks cool but what can it do?”. Instead of progressively revealing the UI, we now show all features greyed out from the start. 3. New way to turn on/off emails about matching jobs. Pause them if you're no longer looking for work. 4. Many bug fixes and nicer chat UI. Try it at Poly.site!

As everything inevitably trends toward Personal AI (watch my 2023 talk about this youtube.com/watch?v=A90xxY60…), I'll be adding support for MCP and other access protocols soon. You can search for jobs today, or post an ad to attract fellow early adopters. There’s an invite only Discord for subscribers.

It's early days with plenty of rough edges (the agent really does have a mind of its own 😅), but please try it out and tell me what you think. I’ll keep fixing bugs and writing tests until it’s rock solid. I’ll post more at @polydotsite
