Migrants and asylum seekers are a symptom and exacerbation of misery not the root cause. I haven’t met a single person who doesn’t know this. No one is delighted by tax evaders and declining living standards. But they can see influxes of people that bring wages down, it’s damned strange when people supposedly on the left forget this.
The parents that were allowing their kids to walk home from school now can’t because men are hanging around their streets staring at their daughters, or worse. Their schools and doctor surgeries are already shit, they know 400 new men in their town will put a further drain on resources. A&Es in cities are full of migrants, these are pretty visible issues.
Pharmacists and medics in hospitals are being replaced by foreigners who hardly speak English, to save money, and our own home trained young doctors can’t find jobs.
And as an aside my daughter was very unwell with sepsis and I can tell you the NHS is uncaring, horrendous and terminally broken.
Successive governments have worked against the working people in so many sinister ways, crippling small business, dismantling education, allowing tax evasion, making those on benefits better off than those on low wages, importing financially net negative people, net zero, even our own schools pay higher energy prices due to a green tax, closing SEN schools, closing community hospitals, allowing unvetted people (mostly men) arrive by boats, mass rape of girls over seven decades, the insidious rise in the power of woke, pretending men can be women, CRT to start to spread throughout supposedly intelligent minds and institutions … I could go on.
For those that sneer at people with concerns about migrants and migrants hotels I suggest you send a female relative you care about backpacking in Pakistan or Sudan or a male to Eritrea and see if that culture is one you fancy importing. Or just have a sandwich sat alone near one of the hotels.
Migrants are an issue, the asylum system is a scam, successive governments who don’t reap the consequences seem not to care for those that do, they don’t care about the impact on safety, they don’t care about decaying towns, they don’t care about you.
