FAB STATEMENT:
Our response to the Premier League Independent Disciplinary Commission's flawed decision to award a compensation payment for a 2022 PSR breach.
In a mark of the significance of the case, Everton has brought in law firm Slaughter and May to handle its appeal against Burnley.

"We invaded unarmed Arab villages; almost none fought back because they had no weapons. We expelled them, shot at them, and the women and children fled to Gaza. We shot at them and killed them; we did terrible things for Zionism."
Absurd is one word for a club overspending, a rival going down because of it, and the rival using the compensation process that already exists. We didn’t make the rules or the breach. If the award’s too big, that’s the appeal’s job, fair enough. The principle’s sound.
The first two episodes of a six-parter, in which our founder, Dr David France, looks back at Everton in the Sixties, are now available to view.

Here is a taster.
How on earth Pet Sounds was even made and recorded is still totally beyond me...
the skill and dedication are off the scale...
Brian Wilson basically invented a new way of making records...
And yes, the Beatles had to step up to compete…
A Day in the Life is living proof that the genius was working overtime...
#EFC GOLD DUST ALERT. Film from the European Cup match at Keflavik in 1970 has been uploaded today. First time it has seen the light of day in this country. Magnificent stuff.

🚨 Everton have considered the merits of Atalanta’s Raoul Bellanova, an Italy international, among others as they look to strengthen the right back position [@_pauljoyce]
Think a large number of people responding to your comment Al miss the point .It’s not a question of how good or otherwise Myko is , it’s whether he ( or any player ) deserves the personal abuse on here that he regularly gets ? It’s pretty horrible and to my mind unacceptable.
Everton Twitter has been one miserable place recently. Some seeming to enjoy being as horrible as they possibly can be about anyone associated with the club that they don’t rate. With the word ‘ambition’ being used as an excuse. Just hope potential signings haven’t been on here🙄
It’s sad to see some of the reactions to Mykolenko’s new deal, I get that he’s no Leighton Baines (not many are) but the lad gives everything whenever he wears the shirt. It’s ok to have an opinion on what you think of his performance but some of what I’ve seen is disrespectful
It’s abundantly clear, even if you’re ok with Burnham looking a mess, that he’s not up to it. He comes unstuck in every single interview. He was weak on Question Time too. He would be a massive mistake as PM before you even get to the flavour of how left-wing he would be. He’s giving full-on Truss vibes. Take it from someone who was Tory at the time and watched in agony throughout a stifling summer a car crash in slow motion as an idiotic lightweight was talked up over Sunak. They seem not to be done with idiotic lightweights but we digress! She wasn’t remotely up to it, it was mad. He is the Labour equivalent. It will be terrible for Labour
who would be routed even in their “safest” seats - I’ve had experience of that too, it’s not fun - and the country. Don’t do it. I was right on Johnson and Truss, I fought them hard and Burnham needs fighting too. Cooper or Streeting are by far the better option.
Carsley, a perfect fit for me Terry but only after Moyesy’s contact has expired. Blues only win silverware with ex players as manager and Carsley is highly rated but maybe his football isn’t ‘sexy’ enough for some of our fanbase 🤷🏻♂️
My piece in today's Daily Express about Ray Wilson, so often the forgotten member of England's World Cup winning side of 1966, who went on to become an undertaker in his home town of Huddersfield. High time this man's contribution to sport, and life, came in from the cold.
It’s me, Peter Coyle...
That is me singing in 1983 when things were messed up…
and now it’s 2026 and I’ve just released ‘Anthems of the Fucked Up’...
a nice symmetry there...
