Testpad is now at testpad.com ✅
Wait, is that news? Yep... Testpad has been "ontestpad" since 2011. But after finally purchasing our dot com, we’ve now moved 🎉
Everything should auto-redirect, but any issues, don’t hesitate to hit us up on support@testpad.com
Tired of fussy spreadsheets? Learn how we ditched spreadsheets for @testpad, a test management tool designed to make manual #testing easier. buff.ly/2BeXfHp
Small update to Testpad went out this weekend - a collection of tweaks, bug fixes and customer-suggested improvements; more details here: blog.ontestpad.com/2020/06/r…
Thanks @JohnHargrove - suspect we’ll see many more web apps put keyboard speed front and center with the likes of @Superhuman and @linear_app blazing the trail
Gotta sing my praises to @testpad for its dedication to having good keyboard support in a web application. If more applications did this the web would be a lot more usable for productivity tools. Nice work.
Update: you can now belong to multiple Testpad accounts and re-use the same email address to login - if it's ambiguous, Testpad will ask you where you're going. Useful for e.g. running a personal trial and later joining the 'official' company account.

Want to link your test plans to the user stories that prompted them? Want to include references to supporting test data and documentation... Testpad has lots of options for including links: blog.ontestpad.com/2019/03/l…
Don't miss our Guest Testing feature for when you need extra help to make a release deadline, and/or want to involve your clients in testing - read more in the blog blog.ontestpad.com/2018/12/g…#software#testing#uat
Fun to see Testpad getting mentions in QA job histories on LinkedIn 👏
(but hoping never to see it listed as a skill... it's supposed to be easier to use than that!)
Not every test that can be automated has to be. It's sometimes simpler and cheaper to do it manually. But when considering the cost-benefit, don't forget the opportunity cost of testers' time that could have been spent exploring. #software#testing
Web testing? don't forget to open the dev console sometimes, as well as JS error messages, it's amazing what developers confess to console.log()... 🙈
"oops, shouldn't be here"
"will never happen"
"TODO make this secure"

Good quote from @RobMeaney. Automated testing is incredibly valuable, just know its place for finding bugs you predicted. For the unpredictable, you need an inventive inquisitive brain hunting exploratively. And a checklist to guide said exploration wouldn't hurt...
Automation is written to support refactoring, evolution & unexpected change detection. Its role is not to test what you are building today but to help the team to build new functionality safely tomorrow.
Emergent behaviour... Testpad wasn’t built as a UAT tool, but the Guest Testing feature is proving popular for exactly that; inviting clients/customers in as account guests to run acceptance scripts and checklists #uat#checklists#testing
Testpad usage tip: don't make scripts too short... see the new blog post for details, good examples and hints on how to refactor existing scripts: blog.ontestpad.com/2018/08/p…
Testpad performance tip - use "Start a Retest" for retesting new builds instead of "New Test Run" to avoid an over-population of columns... more detail on the blog: blog.ontestpad.com/2018/07/p…
Thanks @choudlet, glad you like it. If you have any feedback or suggestions, now is a great time to influence what's next. Front-runners include an API, notifications, integrations and a project-user permission model. x.com/choudlet/status/100987…
