A lot of people assume #Web3 adoption is slow because users “don’t get it” or don’t care about decentralization. I don’t think that’s true. Most people quit because the experience feels hostile! You try to do something simple, send funds, use an app, mint something, and suddenly you’re asked to pay an unpredictable fee that might be higher than the thing you’re doing. That makes scaling almost impossible on some of the biggest blockchains in the space. In this video, I explain why gas fees are one of Web3’s biggest usability failures, how fee markets push complexity onto users, and why competing with bots and traders for block space is a terrible experience for normal people.
