In case you don’t know the current UFC is not about finding out who the best fighter is.
I’m not saying this in a salty way, when I was cut I was neither but remaining in the ufc is about metrics, clicks, views and followers. This is how tuivasa can be on a 4 year losing streak but Marcos isn’t resigned

How? Not even trying to be combative, but Herb didn't stop the bout until after the bell, so clearly he didn't think he was out in real time.
What, upon replay, determined he was out before the bell? How was that definitive to change the call from the cage?

He held on for a fraction of a second past the bell... I don’t think it was egregious enough for me to disqualify him.
Each fight is the most important fight of your career, and you have seconds to lock something in. Who knows where his mind was at? He’s fighting for everything, for his whole career, and giving it everything he’s got. Sometimes it takes a second for someone to realize it’s over.”

Herb decided that you can no longer be saved by the bell in a choke
Nkuta is fighting the hands as the bell rings and Moraes holds the choke for an extra second or two (or three) after the bell.
I think that the wrong call was made.

Bad flashback of my fight with Ricky Simon. @PhumiNkuta_MMA was NOT out before the bell. His opponent held him 2 seconds after the bell and that’s when he was slept. Ref should have broken it up at bell and the fight would have gone to decision. Again- case of bad reffing… costs Phumi a loss 😡
