i think the most unfortunate thing about all of this is that it should’ve been *totally* preventable.
given what we’ve seen over the past 48 hours, it’s clear that many people viewed him as rather unsavory and felt psychologically unsafe around him.
so, what happened?

It's not impersonations of high-profile accounts that are the problem. It's the person impersonating a minor online celebrity, an obscure government functionary, or perhaps their ex. That's where the harm will be done and no one will notice or care until it's far too late

i joined Twitter as an APM right after undergrad and today is my last day! i’ve learned so much since then, ending on a high note (i think) — simultaneously working as a PM on consumer 🐦 and revenue 🐤 products

as for me… i’m going to be taking a break! i’m tired and need to prioritize my health for a bit. i’m feeling optimistic about the future, though — in the meantime, always down to chat, jam etc. 🤟🏾
