There is no playwright in Hollywood with a cruel enough imagination to imagine such a script. Sadly, that is our new normal.
Viennese pro Palesitinian millionaire Marlene Englehorn, who obsessively attacks Israel day and night on social media, is the heiress to wealth generated by the death of millions during the Holocaust.
Marlene Engelhorn’s personal wealth she inherited from her grandmother is the product of her family building chemical giant BASF, which in the 1920s became part of the IG Farben conglomerate, one of Nazi Germany’s largest industrial powers.
IG Farben was so evil and responsible for so many deaths during WWII that after the war the allies had to shut it down.
IG Farben produced the cyanide-based poison Zyklon B, the chemical used in Nazi extermination camps such as Auschwitz.
These two German companies also exploited forced slave labor of Jews and non Jews during the Holocaust.
Do I blame Marlene for the sins of ancestors and family?
"For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of those who hate Me.” (Exodus 34:7)
Jewish tradition teachers about this verse that while no child bears the sins of their ancestors, when they continue to walk in ways of their ancestors, God holds the sins of their ancestors against them.
Marlene's obsessive hate for the Jewish people from where she lives in Austria, despite her dark family legacy, shows an extraordinary lack of remorse for her families profiting off of the greatest crime in human history. She is complicit.
