Congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his assured pathway to second term so beautifully laid by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, his consortium partner in the delivery of 'Project 2nd Term for Tinubu, 2027'.

Even Peter Obi their principal himself; if he had been left to pass through a primary election, whether free and fair or not, he would have lost like his supporters too. So, what would have befallen him is bound to befall his supporters, given the same circumstance. Obi dreads primary election. It is the reason why he always guns for free ticket in any party he moves into. Unfortunately, he lacks the influence to ensure free or concensus nominations for his supporters too; especially, the highly resourceful ones within the Obidient 'movement'. Or do I say he is so self-minded to be thoughtful of his supporters? Obi is a featherweight politician deceptively padded by his vociferous supporters to look like a charismatic political leader with the positive influence to make things happen for himself and his supporters, not 'followers'. I deliberately do not call his supporters 'followers', because only a leader has followers. And Obi does not evince the quality to be called one; at least, in the context of political or public leadership. A charismatic politician with a large cult of supporters like the Obidients would have positively wielded them as a bargaining power to bring some good things home to himself and his supportes within any political circle. That was what Bola Tinubu did back then with his ACN bloc of APC, and still does. That is what makes him stay relevant and formidable in the Party. That was the power he wielded in 2022 to lay claim to the highest office in the Party and in the country. That is why he is President today. And that is why his followers and longtime loyalists are in prime positions of power in Nigeria today.
Tell me two popular candidate that follows Peter Obi to NDC that was given a chance to participate in free and fair primary election. But their principal is ok since he has been given what he wants. This is one of the reasons those who work with him during governorship tenure in Anambra can't come out openly to support him.

I voted for Peter Obi in this poll, but heaven knows, and my spirit bears me witness, that my vote belongs to President Bola Tinubu on January 15, 2027. I voted for Obi, because I want to keep Obidients inspired in their false hope in online poll wins as an indication of sure victory for Obi till they are disillussioned again on January 15, 2027 just like they were in 2023.

I wish to express my profound appreciation for the privilege, which you have bestowed on me, of leading our great party, the African Democratic Congress, into the next elections as its Presidential Candidate. I am truly humbled and excited by this singular honour. We demonstrated that while democracy is being strangled and squashed by the ruling party and its oppressive and anti-democratic government, democracy is alive and well in the African Democratic Congress. In our party, members are allowed to express their views, to have ambitions and to contest for elective positions in a free, fair and transparent process. Our great party is a coalition built through hard work, immense sacrifices and compromises, guided by our determination to rescue our country’s democracy which is facing its greatest threat since the return to democratic rule in 1999. As I speak, virtually all opposition political parties in the country have leadership crisis engineered by the APC government, the INEC and elements in the judiciary. And opposition figures continue to be harassed and intimidated, including those languishing in detention, such as Mallam Nasir El-Rufai who distinguished himself as a public servant, including as a Minister and two-term Governor of Kaduna State. He has been in detention for three months despite court orders granting him bail. He has been denied the right to celebrate two important religious holidays with his family in addition to being denied the opportunity to be by his mother’s side as she took her last breath. All because he is a leading opposition figure! This kind of cruelty must stop. The government continues to harass, intimidate and coerce opposition politicians to join the APC using the security agencies as well as the agencies which were set up by a previous government to fight corruption. Under this government, once a person joins the APC, the harassment ceases and the charges against them magically disappear. This abuse of power must stop. Great care was taken to ensure that due diligence was done in the process of forming this coalition. Yet the government and the INEC continue to undermine it, even trying to deregister it. Let me warn that any further attempt to interfere in the affairs of the party by the Presidency, INEC and judiciary will be fiercely resisted. Enough is enough. I congratulate my fellow contestants for this ticket to represent our great party in the elections scheduled for early next year. I know that you are driven by your patriotism and commitment to a better Nigeria and improved life for our people. I know that, like me, you are deeply concerned about the rapid descent of our country into economic disaster, catastrophic insecurity, extreme nepotism, political intolerance and the drive towards a one-party state by the current government and its party. I thank you for your healthy participation in this democratic process. I must state at this juncture that this is not the time to celebrate. No one was defeated because we are one party and we all need to recognise the fierce urgency of the moment. Therefore, we have to unite, as we pledged before this process, to work to pull our country and our people out of the destructive grip of a corrupt, incompetent and polarising APC government. I thank the primary elections Committee for organising peaceful, free, fair and transparent primaries. I thank the various leadership organs of our party, the various stakeholders, and volunteers for their hard work and dedication and all our party members and supporters for their efforts, patience and conduct during the process. With the primaries behind us, the real hard work is about to begin. We have to prepare to campaign hard to win the next general elections in order to begin the difficult process of rescuing our country and its long-suffering people from this government.

Know it that even your Peter Obi's candidacy is standing on a very slippery ground in NDC, because NDC's leadership is presently on INEC portal by court order. This is because NDC's registration is, in the first place, pursuant to an order of a Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja. The order may be vacated by the court or nullified by a superior court, at any moment in the course of time. And by implication, NDC will be left with no leadership and candidates. Know it also that NDC's registration is currently being challenged in court by another interested party praying the court to nullify its registration for not meeting the constitutional and INEC's requirements for registration. So, not yet uhuru for NDC too.
Replying to @NTANewsNow
Ladies and Gentlemen, I've lost count of the number of ADC you have in Nigeria. I know the: 1. Dumebi Kachikwu ADC 2. David Mark ADC 3. Nafiu Bala ADC But this one is the New ADC, just like they had the New PDP in the past.

Peter Obi is good in itemising and magnifying problems but he is greatly lacking in ideas of preferable solutions to the problems. Obi has found an escape in the buzzword 'leadership' as a silver-bullet answer to all problems. Ask him to proffer his own problem-solving ideas or give specific practical solutions to the problems he has itemised; he would say "LEADERSHIP"!
Yesterday in South Africa, after meeting with the ministers in the morning, I delivered a guest speech at the Spier Dialogue Event on “Policies for Growth in Africa” in Cape Town, where I reiterated that Africa has no reason to remain poor. Our continent is blessed with enormous natural and human resources. Africa holds huge mineral reserves, possesses over 60% of the world’s uncultivated arable land, and has the youngest population globally. These are not liabilities; they are strategic assets for economic transformation. Yet, despite these enormous advantages, Africa continues to lag due to poor leadership, corruption, weak institutions, and the high cost of governance. Africa must now look ahead and move forward with decisive action. We must shift our focus from politics and endless election cycles to productivity, development, and nation-building. The future of Africa lies in investing aggressively in Human Development Index (HDI) indicators, especially education, healthcare, and lifting people out of poverty. Today, many African countries still record low life expectancy, high infant mortality, widespread unemployment, and growing poverty levels. Small and medium-scale businesses, which should be the engine of growth, are collapsing under harsh economic conditions, poor infrastructure, and policy inconsistency. What Africa needs is competent leadership with the capacity, compassion, and commitment to prioritise production over consumption, and development over politics. If we invest in our people, strengthen institutions, reduce the cost of governance, combat corruption, and create an environment where businesses can thrive, we can build a more productive, secure, democratic, and prosperous Africa that works for all its people. A New Africa is Possible. -PO

These political neophytes called Obidients will not stop amusing us with their naivety!😂 Because the hall was "filled to capacity"; it then means that the people presently occupying Aso Rock will be automatically displaced in 2027, right?! NDC used an events hall for a national congress, and you are emotionally over-excited about it! Have you seen how the people you want to remove do fill stadiums beyond capacities whenever they organise ordinary State congresses, not even a national convention like what NDC has just done? They don't even use events halls, because it would be suffocating for them. Who then are the Egyptians that you are going to see no more after 2027? Actually, Peter Obi and his Obidients are the Egyptians here!
Nigerians! The Egyptians you see in Aso rock today, you will see them no more in 2027. #nigeria #politics #NDC

If Peter Obi could attract 10 millions to a party within 24 hours of joining the party, he would not be running from party to party, afraid of party primaries. He would not need to be begging for free party ticket.
Within 24 Hours of Peter Obi Joining the NDC, Over 10 Million Nigerians Registered with the NDC – Adebayo Many ADC members have defected into the NDC; they obviously know something. The person who has the capability to win the election is Obi. Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo, South West Coordinator, Obi-Kwankwaso Movement

But why did the neighbours now narrating the alleged persistent maltreatments of this poor child have to wait till the last one leading to her death happened to her, without reporting to a government authority? Why now that the poor girl's life can no longer be saved? Deeply sad! Please, people; when we see incidents of violence against persons happening around us, especially to vulnerable children lacking the capacity to cry out for help like this poor little girl, let us take action swiftly by reporting to the Police or any government authority, before it gets late to save the victim.
This happened yesterday! I was at home this morning when someone rushed in to report a case of murder. A couple in the community had adopted a 10 year old girl. According to eyewitnesses, the couple had been consistently maltreating and assaulting the child, while also sending her on unnecessary errands. I was informed that the girl had been sick for about two weeks, yet the abuse continued. Yesterday, both the husband and wife allegedly beat the child severely despite her condition, and sadly, she died. They reportedly rushed her to a hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Youths in the community apprehended the woman while the husband had gone out to look for a tricycle to dispose of the girl’s lifeless body. Unfortunately for him, he was caught when he returned with the tricycle, and both suspects were held until authorities arrived. I immediately contacted the DPO of Igando Division and instructed the landlady to report the matter formally, which she did. The DPO of Igando Division promptly deployed officers to arrest the couple and recover the body of the deceased child. While I was questioning the suspect, he claimed the girl was sick, that they rushed her to the hospital, and that she died while receiving treatment. I then asked which hospital was involved. Unfortunately for him, the doctor there is known to me and also my personal physician. I called the doctor to verify the claim, and he confirmed that a child was brought to the hospital, but she was already dead and cold on arrival. This matter will not be swept under the carpet.

Igini need to be investigated for disinformation while inciting the public against the federal government @OfficialDSSNG
Igini is only being mischievous crying wolf! That provision has always been in previous amendments of the electoral statute: the Electoral Act 2002, the Electoral Act 2006, the Electoral Act 2010, the Electoral Act 2022 and now the Electoral Act 2026. Igini saying: (1) that the provision was ever removed at any time is a BLATANT LIE; (2) that it took people like him 20 years to get it removed is a BIG LIE; (3) that the provision was not in the Electoral Act 2022 is a FAT LIE; (4) that the provision was secretly re-introduced newly into the Electoral Act 2026 is a WEIGHTY LIE. In all, Igini engaged in a serious act of disinformation and misleading the public with the dangerous tendency to incite the people against members of the National Assembly. Igini cannot be the sole repository of wisdom to think that the provision can give room to excessive discretion and manipulation, for all these years it has existed in the law. INEC has over the years developed mechanisms that have made vote manipulations increasingly difficult. One of such is ballot paper forgery and stuffing.

FACT CHECK: Igini’s claim incorrect. Ballot paper validation in Electoral Act 2026 existed in 2022 law Mike Igini, a former resident electoral commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has claimed that the Electoral Act 2026 contains a new provision granting presiding officers the discretion to accept or reject ballot papers that do not bear the official mark prescribed by the electoral body. THE CLAIM Speaking during an interview on ARISE News on Wednesday, Igini said section 63 of the Electoral Act 2026, which deals with ballot papers, grants excessive discretion to presiding officers. A presiding officer, better known as a PO, is the primary election official responsible for managing a polling station on election day. thecable.ng/fact-check-igini… #FactCheck

When the judiciary sacked the Chairman of APC the ruling party, pls, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive? When the Judiciary sacked the entire victory of APC in Zamfara and handed the entire positions including Governorship, Deputy Governorship and House of Reps to PDP even though APC was the ruling party at the Federal, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive? When the Judiciary sacked APC from participating in River State election and Wike of PDP ran his 2nd term without APC fielding any candidate, whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive? APC Governorship candidate won in Bayelsa, a night before handing over, APC candidate who won was sacked and stopped and the position given to Gov Diri of PDP that came second. whose voice were they following since the public perceived the judiciary as the arm of the executive? IF the pronouncement of the court goes against ADC in the coming days, there is nothing NEW or SPECIAL about that.... APC as the ruling party has lost cases in court, if opposition loses case in court, democracy will still be here irrespective of your EMOTION.

It is another election cycle. So, it is time to cash out from Atiku Teller Machine (ATM) again. The season is here for every Tom, Dick & Harry of a Cash Society Organisations (CSO's) to organise and reach out to our ATM for their own bucks. Of the smarte-e-e-s-t Coalition for Democracy!!! Well done, guys!👍👍😅😇
This afternoon, I met with the Coalition for Democracy Movement, led by Dr. Jibril Shehu Mustapha, who outlined their nationwide structure and commitment to supporting our cause, especially as it’s the move credible and also protecting the votes. I highlighted growing concerns about election manipulation, especially at collation centres, and stressed the need for effective countermeasures, while expressing gratitude for their support and commending their consistency. I assured them that their sacrifices will not be forgotten, and that history will remember their role in defending democracy. -AA

So Mr. Peter Obi had a recent interview on Symfoni TV and boldly asserted that he won the 2023 Presidential Elections! Meaning both Atiku and Tinubu forged their results! Wonderful!! That was a very bold one if you ask me. It's his most daring statement to date, and I wonder why now? if not for the purposes of gaslighting and misleading the most ignorant of the populace, thereby taking undue advantage of their ignorance and frustrations. He must be an ardent student of Mr. Trump's playbook. Or how else can one explain his inability to make this bold assertion when he appeared at the Presidential Elections Tribunal with several plastic boxes supposedly of evidences to prove his case? Sadly and unfortunately, our youths are restless and impatient with facts, so no leader should take advantage of this societal anomaly, none whatsoever. PO had 5 notable requests nay prayers at the tribunal, and they're as follows.. 1. Eligibility, 2. FCT 25%, 3. Election Cancelation, 4. INEC to conduct fresh general elections 5. Removal of Tinubu/ Shettima from the ballot paper based on number 1. He never claimed to have won the election and therefore be declared winner at the most important place and time. Anyone with better recollection of events should plz help me out here if I missed out on anything. So the million dollar question now is if he won, and he is empirically factual of his claim, why not boldly say it to those that mattered then? Gentlemen if we aren't ready to ask tough questions on all sides in this next elections we might making same mistakes and expecting a different outcome. Like I'll always say, if you're not deep on these issues, get someone who is and be humble enough to listen as tales are about to get told in manners you or those before you never heared before.
