Some wonderful news! Our very own junior faculty Prof. David Punihaole has recently received the NSF CAREER award from the Division of Chemistry. Congratulations to Prof. Punihaole and his research group! 👏🥳 @ThePunihaoleLab@UVMcas
Had a wonderful time catching up with old friends and meeting new faces @Pittcon! Super proud of all the students in my lab and @ThePunihaoleLab for their respective presentations and engagement. 👏 🎉
This Thurs we have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Bhavik Anil Patel from the University of Brighton for seminar! His talk will be on “Sensing the Gut: Monitoring mucosal signaling molecules.” Hope to see you all there! @UVMHeartBrain@UVMLarnerMed@UVMcas
A bit of a belated post but please help me in welcoming some new faces to the group this semester! 🥳 👏
- Abby O'Connor (Chemistry PhD 1st Yr)
- Senjuti Sengupta (@UVM_neurogp PhD 1st Yr rotation)
- Samantha Guenther (Biochem major)
- Brian Pierce (Bio Sci major, EMS minor)
Want to know how our research interests are linked to Emily Dickinson? I sat down with Joshua Brown, who wrote this INCREDIBLE piece on our sensing technology and long term vision in the latest issue of #VermontMagazine. Thanks Josh for the feature! :) Link in the comment.
It was an incredible Sat for science! Thanks to Chuck, Shana, Tom, and Renã for sharing their phenomenal research. Pleasantly several themes prominently emerged in the talks, including methods like microfluidics, mass spec, biosensors, and others paving the way for #precisionmed!
On Sat, we had the honor of hosting our 41st Esther and Bingham J. Humphrey Memorial Symposium! Thanks to Drs. Charles Henry (CSU), Shana Kelley (Northwestern), Tom Soh (Stanford), and Renã Robinson (Vanderbilt) for visiting us and sharing their work! #bioanalyticalchem
Am honored to be hosting my 1st Humphrey Symposium next Saturday! As you see below, we have an incredible line-up of speakers, covering a variety of methods, including #MassSpec, #Biosensing, and #Microfluidics, in the monitoring of #health & #disease. Hope to see you all there!
On Sat, Oct 12th, we have the pleasure of hosting our 41st Esther and Bingham J. Humphrey Memorial Symposium. Thanks to the generous support of the Humphrey family for making these events possible! Our fall theme is "Advances in Bioanalytical Chemistry." @UVMcas@UVMLarnerMed
This semester we welcome 2 new students to the lab: Bella Taylor and Jill Corbit! Bella is a #biology major at UVM and pursuing a minor in #psychology. Jill is a #neuroscience major at UVM and pursuing a minor in #psychologicalscience. Welcome to the group!
Thanks for the opportunity to speak at the 4th annual VCCBH symposium and for funding our collaborative work with @ThePunihaoleLab through the inaugural #pilot team grant and the current #RPL award to @ThePunihaoleLab! @UVMHeartBrain
📢 Paper Alert! 📢 Congrats to our lab's recent graduate Nikki Villarini (B.S. Chem, c/o '23) on her 1st, 1st-author publication in @ACS_AMI! Nikki will be starting her PhD studies at #CSU Chemistry this fall. To say that I am a proud advisor is the understatement of the yr. 👏
