The flooding issues in Texas will only become worse this week.
Remember: turn around, don't drown! Never drive through flood waters! And with numerous flood threats this week in Texas, the best advise may be to remain high and dry until the threats pass.

I am grateful to be alive after getting caught in a flash flooding event on I 35 near Waco. Look how fast the water was coming over this retaining wall. I am so thankful that retaining wall held up otherwise this situation could've been a horrible tragedy. There were many of us literally trapped on I 35. I am so thankful for the first responders who came out.

That smoke is literally getting carried away :)
A long smoke plume drifts across Nebraska from the South Fork Fire in the northwestern corner of the state.
The fire is currently around 9,000 acres in size.

USGS is forecasting another volcanic eruption!
They now predict that Kilauea will erupt on the Big Island of Hawaii sometime between tomorrow, June 12, and June 15. When it erupts, it would be the 49th time the volcano erupted in this latest series which started in 2024.
