Shipped a new feature in EveryExpert that let's users create, organize, and control the visibility of their different services. Mapped out the design in Figma → built it with Claude.

Took a break from feature work this afternoon to polish some design details. Nothing crazy, but a year ago I would have had to beg a developer to do this kind of stuff. Really fun time to be a designer. Also @livekit is amazing lol

Serious question for all the folks *switching* between Opus and Codex so easily. How are you actually making the switch to a new harness to evaluate? I've squeezed a ton of perf out of Claude Code with a combo of Skills, Subagents, agent orchestration loops etc.

One of my new favorite @kickfinance features just went live.. It's called: Rules Think it's worth giving Rules left nav status and breaking it into it's own dedicated tab? Check out this and 23 larger product updates in today's Changelog:
17 Sep 2025
New: Advanced rules We’ve released a new Rules engine to give you full control over your transactions and accounting reports in Kick. In the past, Kick automatically created Rules behind the scenes through our Actions feature. Now, we’re putting that same system into your hands—giving you full control to personalize Kick for your Business or Clients. Just chose your conditions to create Actions that: • Change Categories • Apply Classes • Update Entities • Assign Vendors • Assign Customers • Add Notes In addition to Transaction Rules, we’re also rolling out Accounting Rules which give you the ability to override Kick’s automated Category to Chart of Account mapping. This gives you full flexibility to customize accounting reports for any industry. To create your own Transaction or Accounting rule, go to the Rules subtab and select “ ”. Once your Rules are set up, you can “kick” back knowing your books are on autopilot.

Excited to share @kickfinance has officially partnered with @Gusto I’ve been using Gusto since it was ZenPayoll, so it’s a full circle moment to be official partners. For Kick users, this means a direct integration that reconciles your payroll for you, so you can focus on your business. Let’s go 🙌

I like @zeddotdev. It's fast, clean, with great vim support, good terminal and git integration. It can do agentic AI but also have a global-level kill switch to turn all AI features off. Besides all that, it also has the cleanest website.

Wrote up my thoughts on the "extreme work culture" more and more AI startups expecting devs to work regularly late into the night and on weekends at AI startups. I don't think it will change but cannot see this being healthy. (The hope of) money talks? blog.pragmaticengineer.com/n…

I’m a fan of @dhh and @ThePrimeagen. @dhh inspired me to build a huge leap in my early career with rails @ThePrimeagen inspired me to create tech content (distributed systems with @nats_io) and made me feel proud of being a vim user all these years. I approve this (b)romance

Who says (b)romance is dead?! 😂 But seriously, I think we are better off when it's kosher to earnestly be able to just say "I appreciate you and your work" without the virtue-signaling caveats and asterisks.

I’m so tired of the 996 AI startups culture alongside crazy short term unsustainable spikes in growth. I bleeds into investors and creates unhealthy downward pressure for teams to work like their portfolio companies do to “capitalize” on the moment.
I am surprised to see more and more startups (mostly AI ones) equate an "extreme performance culture" with "we stay very late in the office, work on weekends, and many of us live where we work." Speaking of myself, I have done mediocre work when working nonstop for a long time..

I’m off Cursor and back to using @zeddotdev w/claude code. Having the combo of CC and Zed agent is good enough to not want to go back. I love having something fast again with a decent terminal, and I think the CLI based agents are gonna continue to thrive.

Does anyone else have a harder time coding frontend with agents b/c of your own UI/UX standards? Don’t get me wrong, I’m still using agents, I just babysit them a lot more on frontend b/c none of them deliver the polish factor. Everything is a “meh, good enough” UX

I ❤️ this product teaser. Reminds me of the @culturedcode Things 3 launch video. Which to this day is still one of the 🐐s. Well done @karrisaarinen and team!

Claude Code has a new /model option: Opus for plan mode. This setting uses Claude Opus 4.1 for plan mode and Claude Sonnet 4 for all other work—getting the best of both models while maximizing your usage.

Speed Best vim emulation Multibuffer is killer for working alongside an agent Competitive agent - Tab completion model not as good as Cursor's (nothing is, really)
As a Cursor enjoyer, please sell me Zed
