Hey guys, just a quick validation, I would really appreciate your responses!
I'm building GetDistributed, a referral marketplace that connects early-stage startups with marketers and sales people.
The idea is simple: instead of spending on ads, startups offer marketers a cut of MRR (e.g. 10%) for every customer they bring in. Marketers get a unique referral link, earn recurring income, and both sides win.
Quick questions:
If you're a startup founder: would you list your product and offer a revenue share instead of paying for ads without sure conversion?
If you're a marketer/sales person: would you promote startups in exchange for recurring commission?
What would stop you from using something like this?
Completely free to join at launch. Would love brutal honest feedback 🙏
This just gave me a great idea!
