Prime example of building a media business the wrong way.
Better way:
1. Pull up to restaurants and offer to do food reviews for free if they cover the food cost.
2. Package it as a series and run a pilot that shows you can get quality impressions
3. Find a cook wear brand that sells to restaurants, get them to sponsor the entire series, off them impressions getting directly in front of their target customer (the SMBs)
Now you have a format, someone paying for it, and you are providing free game to the restaurant so yes they will meet w your sponsor and you can provide them a warm intro 🤷🏽♂️
Too many creators hustling in reverse
A restaurant owner has called out food influencer Wasil Daoud who asked for $1,800 to create content while eating there
"I don't need a like from Brazil, I need to put out good food consistently and connect with people of Pittsburgh who spend their hard earned money"
