I was told today by a 17-year-old that there was no way people were writing 10 page papers without Al. Dude, I was writing 10 page papers without having read the book.

OTD in 2023, I left the academy to launch @CAFF_HigherEd. The move was bittersweet b/c I loved teaching students & contributing to campus life, but it has been amazing to watch how the Lord has blessed our work. Here are some highlights as we celebrate CAFF's 3rd anniversary.🧵1/

Well, I don’t think you should defend a pastor who says incredibly stupid things like the Bible “whispers about sexual sin”, or that you should have defended Res 9, or that you should defend quotas for church committees, yet here we are. You can repent any time and you should.
I don't think your handle should be "SirReepicheep" or or "SonOfNarnia" or something if C.S. Lewis would be horrified by your behavior.

"The only solution for the Southern Baptist Convention to solve its sexual abuse problem is to dismantle the denomination entirely, according to @BozT," an attorney for abuse survivors. Seems like a good time to re-run this. ⬇️ #ThisistheSBC #SBC26 baptistnews.com/article/sbc-…

Guess where conservatives learned that trick? #SBC22
A pet peeve re: the SBC annual meeting is when the question is called before a motion has had the chance to be debated adequately. It’s a shrewd tactic but it’s poor form & doesn’t serve the messengers well. You don’t need to strong-arm a strong motion. #sbc26

We don’t have to do this. Nobody does.
Maybe the foreigners have it right. Maybe the eagle and the flyover and the canyon and the kindness of a stranger with car keys really are worth crossing an ocean to see. Maybe, watching them fall in love with the place we take for granted, we could fall in love with it again ourselves and decide to be a little more charitable to the neighbor God told us to love, even when we cannot stand how he votes. ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…

Imagine crashing out for three years over… well, whatever she skipped the groove over. I think it was @megbasham’s book. Or maybe it was @WilliamWolfe’s pushback that we don’t have to lose here and now. Who knows? But it’s outhouse rat crazy.

Thanks, Gorsuch.
Under oath before Congress, Loudoun Virginia County Schools Supt. Aaron Spence was asked if biological men should be in locker rooms and shower rooms with biological girls. His answer: “Federal law requires it. Yes.” It does NOT. The Dept. of Education ruled the opposite — LCPS’s policy violates Title IX, and the district is under active federal investigation for it. This is what ideological capture looks like.👇

Karmelo didn't cry when the jury heard the 911 call after Austin Metcalf was stabbed. He didn't cry when Austin's twin brother, Hunter, could be heard screaming in anguish and praying his brother wouldn't die. He didn't cry when the jury was shown Austin's autopsy photos. He didn't cry when they saw the blood-soaked shirt used in a desperate attempt to save Austin's life. But he cried when he was found guilty. And he cried again when he was sentenced to 35 years. The only tears the jury saw were for his own fate, not for the life that was taken. Austin Metcalf was robbed of his high school graduation, he will never get another birthday, another chance to live the life that was stolen from him. Thirty-five years may be justice under the law, but for many, it doesn't feel like enough.

This was not harassment. Maybe you’re not cut out for public advocacy if you think it was.
Texas Abolitionist Nathan Irving harassed and followed some of our team as they left the Legislative Priorities Committee at the 2026 GOP Convention. This is what happens when you stand up for compassionate, proven pro-life language. We will not be intimidated, and we will not stop fighting for Texas women and babies.

Does this represent Iowa values, @SteveDeaceShow @DeaceProducer ?
BREAKING: IOWA IS LAYING OFF 200 STATE IT WORKERS AND OUTSOURCING THEIR JOBS TO COGNIZANT, THE #3 H-1B EMPLOYER IN AMERICA. We have covered Cognizant extensively as being a H-1B body shop, importing largely Indian nationals to contract with large American corporations. Cognizant has been certified for 152,483 H-1B workers since 2015. In 2024, a federal jury found the company discriminated against its non-Indian employees. In 2019, two of its top executives were charged with foreign bribery. The state's data centers are moving to the cloud within Amazon, the #2 H-1B employer. The laid-off Iowans are being told they can apply for jobs at Cognizant. Gov. Reynolds claims this saves taxpayers $525M over a decade. The actual contract price was not disclosed. Cognizant is technically headquartered in New Jersey, but their leadership team is nearly 100% Indian, with the top 9 listed on their website shown here.

Very interesting. I took @Jeff_Iorg’s speech and replaced every instance of the phrase “advance the mission” with “maintain the status quo,” and it worked pretty well

IMPORTANT: I’ve had a reliable source warn me that the Credentials Committee plans to undermine Dr. Mohler’s Truth & Unity Amendment. I’ve been told that they plan to bring report saying that in 7 years they only brought 49 churches for disfellowship. Basically, the report will be meant to imply we don’t need the Truth & Unity Amendment without directly saying we don’t need the amendment from Dr. Mohler This could occur during miscellaneous business today. SBC messengers: Don’t be steered away from supporting the Truth & Unity Amendment!
