URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: I am in Moneta (near Roanoke), Virginia, to preach the 20th church anniversary of Troy Keaton and the Eastlake Community Church. The service was in a tent on campus, with close to 1,000 attendees. Ten minutes into the service, a sudden, severe weather event pulled the support poles out of the ground and blew the tent off. One of the elders of the church went to be with Jesus, and several others were seriously injured. Please pray for Pastor Troy, Eastlake Church, and this community - that the hope of our risen Savior would be theirs in abundance during this crisis.

A pet peeve re: the SBC annual meeting is when the question is called before a motion has had the chance to be debated adequately. It’s a shrewd tactic but it’s poor form & doesn’t serve the messengers well. You don’t need to strong-arm a strong motion. #sbc26

He has our Church vote. We brought the maximum number to this year's convention and his sermon yesterday changed lots of minds.

About 18 years ago on 6/4/2009, I was a young and naive college student in China. It was the the 20th year anniversary of Tian'an Men Square event. I had just discovered the truth of that event on social media. Our text books and online sources had no mention of any killing. I was angry at what the government did and how they hid it from us. So I wrote a few blog pieces on that subject. That afternoon, I was sitting at the window of my dorm, when a text message came to me. It's a 0000 number, saying "Da, we know you are at XXX college. We took down your blog. Don't do it again. The consequence will be greater." I felt the chill down my spine. It was a normal day for everyone else. For me, that's when I determined to leave home for freedom. Now, almost 17 years later in June 2026, someone again came after me for what I said. This time, in the US, the land of the free. This time, as a Christian, who was saved by Grace to do good works, knowing the victory belongs to the Lord. This time, as a father of 3 young children, and a husband to my wife, who are Americans. This time, I'm staying to fight. For my children's future. For their faith and many others. For the country that is now my home. For that eventual day when I hear "good and faithful" servant from my Lord.

Can anyone tell me why The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was left out of the list of Christian churches?

There is a chart going around comparing the SBC President candidates that is somewhere on the scale of propoganda, to painting Powell in a beta leader type light. Which is strange for someone who was trusted to be our most recent chair of SBTS. I know Willy well and am sure he has nothing to do with it. He’s my friend, that ain’t ever changing. It is clear, however, that whomever made it is slanted. That is not a hot take. A chart comparison is helpful, if it is fair and accurate. Josh has never said he wants to dismantle the credentials committee, he has said MUCH more about being president than to just “serve.” He has also been in favor of every draft of the amendments from Law to Mohler current. Here below is what’s going on in real life, that I hope people can see, regardless of your preferred candidate. Both are proven men, conservatives in every sense of the word, who deserve a fair representation. 👇
