Over 55 million birds are killed in the UK each year by domestic cats.

Worth remembering that Nigel Farageās Reform UK fell two million votes short of the six million they hoped for. They won only a couple of hundred thousand more than UKIP won in 2015.

ITV spells it out: unlike the EU and the US, UK GDP per head has fallen since 2019.
They endured Covid. So did we. They are impacted by Russia's war on Ukraine. So are we.
etc.
We're all suffering the same problems.
Except Brexit. That's just for us. As are the consequences.
The UK slipped into recession in 2023 but, when it comes to living standards, itās not the size of the economy that matters, itās the amount of growth per person.
And, as @ITVJoel reports, GDP per Head in the UK has been falling for almost two years.

Has anyone mused that this #Cameron thing might actually be a good model for UK politics? Appoint a cabinet of experts in their fields rather than the clueless/revolving door situation of today, who need not worry about being everyday MPs. Just add a system of accountability?
