Thanks @ClionaOfarrelly and @SciCafeWexford for a very informative talk last evening. #Science #curiousity #immunesystem
Innate immunity met innate curiosity @SciCafeWexford last night. Spurred on by probing questions from a very engaged group @ClionaOfarrelly took us through many years of work on virus resistance up to and including Covid. Cells up the nose may be blocking Covid for some people.

What causes Osteoporosis? Osteoporosis comes about from excessive resorption - the process by which osteoclasts remove bone tissue from the bones. Usually, osteoblasts replace the lost tissue with new bone tissue, but in cases of osteoporosis, the resorption rate is too high.

Moving a little and often beats out sitting all day at work and then performing all of your exercise in the evening. Try to find clever ways to encourage more movement in your daily routine!
