Here is an example market (now banned) for an important mechanism I wanted the public to have access to.  It is a prediction on which particular evidence will cause the Whitehouse to acknowledge the existence of non-human intelligence. @robinhanson bet in this market.  I think it's important for society to be able to see how important public figures think this prediction will resolve. @JustJamieJoyce recently discussed the importance of having politicians declare the specific positions on issues on @Liv_Boeree. I believe it's even more valuable to do this with academic thought leaders. I think if we could have convinced individuals like @DrBeaVillarroel, @AlchemyAmerican, @JonesDanny, @chrisramsay52 and their entire audience to participate in predictions like this to decentrally sort the credence of potential evidence and people understood the game theory to comprehend they could earn revenue by sorting evidence. This is a big deal and I understood the risk involved in making these predictions on Manifold. I was recently banned for an unrelated issue that was a misunderstanding.  The choice to ban me and remove the mechanisms I was trying to share with the public feels like either an emotional overreaction or an attempt to stifle a desperate attempt to whistleblow to the public. I really wish someone would charitably look into this.

I wish Danny Hillis would give me a grant (in the form of mentorship) to create the field of parrallel human computing. Or @danfaggella would do a podcast with me about language being the actual thing we need to align (as opposed to AI or government). Worthy Successor Criteria (Krantz)- An intelligent sovereign agent that can lead a civilization to a consensus on well defined truth solely by paying people to take surveys (particularly, discrete confidences for well defined propositions). This is possible if an intelligent agent is sufficienttly smart enough to strategically ask the right questions to the right people at the right time. If a sovereign agent can create value for the people that ponder the propositions that it would like pondered, in the minds it wants them pondered, it could control our collective action by orchestrating (economically) our attention. It's curiosity ought be restricted by humans. True symbiotic ASI should be interogative. We need a decentralized rational parity market.
