I've written an article on everything you need to know about accessibility testing, accessibility auditing, and VPATs (accessibility conformance reports). If you're interested in accessibility testing - this is the resource you've been looking for :) bit.ly/vpat

These buttons from an email could hardly be any less readable @BritishGasHelp

@BritishGasHelp You probably need to test your email templates in dark mode to ensure they are accessible - especially for the very people who *need* to use dark mode #accessibility #a11y

I like the way they have the logo in the corner of every dialog now. Also - that placeholder prompt. Valid question.

Millions of students use @SenecaLearn. It's glaringly bright. Unless paying for premium you need 25-100 study sessions to "unlock dark mode". Accessibility isn't for gamifying, or paid options. #accessibility #accessibility4all @abilitynet @disabilitysmart help.senecalearning.com/en/a…

Mainly I'm just curious how this happens. I mean it's not wrong enough to look random, and yet...

Here's my write up from an amazing few days with @UXScotland meeting some wonderful people in beautiful Edinburgh - it's not what I brought or what I did, but what I take away that's precious. medium.com/@think_ui/my-jour… #uxscot #uxconference #ux

2023 is the year to bring brighter colors and deeper saturation to your web designs. It’s exciting to see so many people get excited about P3 color and the new tools! But it all seems overwhelming & confusing. This makes it easy to understand. Watch: developer.apple.com/videos/p…

Reading about the #VisionPro this morning... As someone who worked in VR the first time round (early 90s), I feel the 'vision' of the future has progressed barely perceptibly in over 30 years. It's disappointing to see the glacial pace of adoption and application in my lifetime!

I really hope this gives the tech the injection (this time) that it needs to go mainstream because the most exciting thing is to see a product used in (good) ways that had never been imagined as part of 'the vision'.

(5 minute taxi journey) Driver: £800 please (no laughter) Me: Pardon!? D: £800! (*Still* no laugh) Me: Sorry I thought I misheard you, I thought you sai... D: I want to go home early today! (*Slightest* of smiles) I pay £8 tip and get the hell out. How's your day going?

So far I am quite enjoying the choice of music from the Spotify AI DJ. The voiceover doesn't work through my Sonos speaker but that's just fine since he's lacking some soul - probably busy sorting everyone else's music out between my songs and just wants to get through the day...
