@DoT_India @TRAI Sir, I hv disputed bill amount for FTTH monthly services with @BSNLCorporate on 19th Nov, no resolution has been provided by them to date. They're unable to generate my Acc. bill correctly which is shocking. My account has been in good standing for over 5 yrs.

A series of events caused RAM prices to explode: - Sam Altman locked up 40% of the world’s DRAM supply in October. - AI chips (GPUs and TPUs) require HBM. Only SK Hynix, Samsung, and Micron can produce it at scale. - Google tried to secure more HBM for TPUs and was told it was “impossible.” The Google executive who failed to secure the memory supply was fired. - Microsoft flew to Korea to negotiate memory supply. SK Hynix said no. One executive stormed out of the meeting. AI ate the supply chain. The same RAM stick now costs about 3x what it did a year ago. The first job AI kills: gamers.

A single 256GB RAM stick costs $1,400 more than an RTX 5090. Absolutely the worst time to build your own PC.

Hi @deepigoyal I think you should deplatform this customer, that is some entitled behaviour and ban such long walks for delivery partners, if they're not allowed vehicle inside the society, he should be able to deliver at the gate.

If anything kept me going through 2025, it was this wee quote: "... we don't get to pick the tests we face, but we do get to choose how we respond to them." #QuotableQuotes

What Arch is doing for #Linux is fascinating. Total authorship, Linux lego. Making opinionated, niche, programmer-focused distros such as DHH's #Omarchy possible. Tbs, Omarchy is pulling in OSX refugees who're coming from a v.stable place to the equivalent of the wild west.

Why btrfs for #Linux? * works to preserve 'snapshots' of your system state (/usr/bin, /usr/lib ... even /boot) * enables easy rollback if you ever get into a 'bricked' state which can happen with a driver update (NVIDIA) btrfs-aware distros? CachyOS, OpenSuse, Fedora

All #Linux distros ship w.btrfs support, but CachyOS OpenSuse provide sensible defaults which ensure btrfs is working in the background. All you have to do is ensure system root is a btrfs volume.

Fedora supports btrfs but leaves a lot of the plumbing to the end-user. A guide: sysguides.com/install-fedora… Fedora believe the future of Linux integrity is based on immutable distros, they provide many immutable options.

I finally got to watch the first episode of Vince Gilligan’s long-awaited new series “Pluribus!” Oh my god—this is incredible. Absolutely incredible. It pulls you in right from the opening scene. Vince really is a genius! It’s still too early to tell, but… could this be Vince Gilligan’s take on Invasion of the Body Snatchers? Jack Finney’s Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1955) was a meta reflection of Cold War–era fears—of invasion and totalitarianism. Could Pluribus be a satire of America today—of social media and division? Can’t wait to see more.
